I am thinking it must have been the holiday version of IASW to which the reference was made? If that is the case then, yes, the nighttime gives IASW Holiday a whole new life and it is truly amazing (then again, I am a sucker for thousands of pretty colored lights), and it attracts people from all corners of both parks like moths to a flame to stare in awe. Plus, there is a little light show projected onto the facade intermittently through the night during the holiday season. But the regular, non-holiday IASW, while definitely pretty and eye-catching at night, has never struck me as something that would be considered "amazing," but then again, it is all a matter of opinion, I guess!
It's just like how the Castle on a regular night is majestic, maybe even beautiful. But on a holiday night, the Winter Castle is stunning, breathtaking, jaw-dropping, etc.
