Its a Small World reopening!!!!

We just booked our Thanksgiving trip, and noticed Disney updated the Nov. schedule. Its shows IASW closed until Sat. Nov 29th. I thought it was supposed to reopen begining of Nov. That was the reason for our trip, as that is our kids favorite ride. Now we have to deal with madness of it opening on our last day at Disneyland. Nemo all over again! Anybody hear anything different about the opening day????

When I was at Disneyland in early June, they said that IASW would be re-opening in late November so that timeline is right in line with what I've been hearing.

Maybe they will have a soft "reopening" before the 29th? I hope you don't have to fight the madness!

I have heard that Small World will open in 2009 as the new revamped version.
My source in Guest Communications said that is an option. I know Disneyland at Christmas would not be the same with the Holiday version. I was told a Spring 2009 opening may happen. My source said that the sitaution is in "total flux" as the refurbishment is already behind schedule.

I'd guess with such a long refurb that its going to be really hard to pin down precisely when it'll be done. It sucks, but it's probably best to assume its going to be closed for some time and not plan any trip around it.
