Is this ride currently being worked on/refurbished? Or is it up and running???

I read somewhere that it started getting refurbished in May and won't be finished until next spring sometime.

According to the official Disney website, IASW is being refurbished until next year.

"it's a small world"closed for refurbishment on Sunday, May 2, 2004 and will reopen in Spring 2005.

Thank you, kind of a bummer since I know my daughter who will be 13 months when we go (Sept) would have LOVED it. Guess that just means we'll HAVE to go back.

We will certainly miss it when we go this summer. My 2 yr old sings that song alot - I was looking forward to her little face when she realized where we were.

I guess we will just have to go back again next yr.
