at WDW yesterday. I went there today. Most apparent are some changes in thhe load/unload area. It looks a lot better than in the past. Inside no one thing is noticable, but everything is brighter and cleaner than it used to be, and everything was working. They did not change the song.

Ratfarts! We were there on St. Patricks day [Thursday] and it wasn't open. Missed it by THAT MUCH!

I was tied for first going on It's A Small World when it re-opened. It is really nice inside. Disney did a really nice job on it. I recomend that everyone goes on it.

They did replace the soundtrack, but not the song. They are now using the a digitally cleaned up version of the original soundtrack from the 64/65 New York Worlds Fair.

Looking forward to seeing this first hand. It may not be an all time favorite but it is 'old Disney' and holds some special memories.

We just missed it too! :guilty: My 3yo was on his first trip to WDW, I'm sure he would have loved it! :mickeybar

If you go onto www.laughingplace.com they have pictures of the load unload area they are really really cool... its straight out of DL AWESOME!!
I cant wait to see this only 201 days till my trip to WDW!! :cool1:

I'm so glad it will be open when we go. As annoying as the song can be I still have to ride it every trip. Safetymom posted some nice pics of the que area the other day. Looks great!

I am soooo pleased! We go in three weeks - it wasn't the same last year, we were there in May and November - had to walk past the shutters both times! How on earth it could take months to refurbish I cannot fathom, but a definate visit this time! Change the music? It's a part of the ride!!! :jumping1:

:cool1: Thanks for the pictures. We went last June with my 6yr. old son and 3 yr. old daughter. I was really sad that they never got a chance to ride on it. Hopefully, we can see it soon!
