Hopefully you used the Disney Visa so you have some reward points for your on board bill. Or some other card where you get cash or frequent flyer miles. Yea, it's crazy to be happy spending a lot of money on something - but heck a cruise is a great place to have some fun.

I might have a record here and you most likly will think I am mad, I paid mine up last week, and I am not going to August 05.

The reason the rate has been good for us from UK to USA, Now after next week it could go any direction, but I am looking at 2003 and I have made a big saving on that, if the £ fell again i would loose a lot more than any possible credit interest.

So thats it for DCL and DL but I I still have to pay for flights next year, but thats in £'s.

Andrew - congrats on getting value for your money! I also have to pay in US$ and exchange them from Canadian. I was not so lucky though!

I thought I was getting a deal over a month ago and paid off our entire cruise and now the Canadian $ is up .10 and I could have saved over $400!!

Oh well, it is paid and we are cruising in less than 90 days!

It is a gamble and I could loose a bit, but last year (2003) I was in WDW and was converting at £1= $1.37, now it is $1.82, now who is getting in next week, and what will the markets do, well no one knows, it could go to $2 to the £, unlikly but I would be sorry I have paid up now, but, if after the election USA puts up interest rates and the UK rates are peaking, it could well go the other way.

I will keep thinking about protecting the money I have saved, rather than hanging out and being greedy,

However there is still the spending money!!!!!!
