It's a Jolly Holiday with LL. *FINISHED* Final Update on pg. 58.

I've probably said it before, but I just love your photos!! You have a really good "eye" for things.

You can come with me...you aren't that far from Tewksbury (that's where I scrap)...I'll get you scrapbook motivated!!!
Do you scrap at a store?

LL I just loved:love: the update!!!

You and your light fixture fixation!! You crack me up!! But seriously...they are awesome:thumbsup2 I'm glad that when I go...I won't just blindly walk beneath them:rotfl:

The Captain Hook adventure was soooo cool!!! My favorite memory of characters, was when my poopy-head son, who refused to have fun...blew off the characters at LTT. next thing Chip pulled up a chair, stole DDs autograph book and challanged DS to a game of tic-tac-toe!!! It was hilarious...even DS had to grin!!:lmao:

Keep the updates a comin girlfriend!!!:thumbsup2

Paula
Yes, it's important not to miss the all impressive light fixtures.

That is great about Chip, what a cute story!
The pics are all fantastic! I actually really like going to see the Tiki birds myself, although I preferred the old show. I guess there is just another reason for me to go to Disneyland.

Can't wait for more!
I didn't realize the old show was at Disneyland!

I SO loved the older version, that after seeing the new version in 2006, we have yet to go back and revisit it---it SO disappointed me that they had changed it THAT much!!!! I really do wish they would just change it back to the very sugary sweet singing Tiki birds--the new plot very much scared my DD back then, and it made me so sad----:sad1: Oh well---at least I have more reason to want to go to Disneyland now!!!

LL--GREAT pictures!!! I love your story about Smee and Hook---how funny!!!! Great hat pictures of both of you!!! As always, you leave me wanting more!!! Can't wait!
I agree, I like the older version much better. But I just love the "tiki tiki bird song".

:rotfl:

My favorite.
I sent that picture to TK before she left, telling her to have a good trip. :rotfl:

I've probably said it before, but I just love your photos!! You have a really good "eye" for things.
Thank you!

Like lamps.
:rolleyes1

Especially those!! :rotfl:

Great update!!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 Those burgers from Pop look fantastic, and I don't even like cheese or burgers that much! It could be because I have been up for 3 hours already and still haven't eaten. Oh well, thanks again for the update!!

I love the Captain Hook and Smee story. That is hysterical. I love when the characters interact with you beyond just signing an autograph and posing for a picture. Fun!
Also those burgers look amazing and I want one NOW!

I love living vicariously through your trip, LL!
:goodvibes

I was really impressed by Hook! I want one of those burgers now too!

Do you scrap at a store?

Yes I do.

Does that help you to scrap more?

Yes it does. If I pull out stuff at home either my DD starts taking it for her "projects" or I lose motivation quickly. But if I go to a place, I scrap with friends so I get a lot more done. The place I go to has crops every Sat from 12-12. You pay $20 and get use of all the machines and a table with a personal cutting mat. She also provides lunch, dinner, drinks, and snacks included in the price. She does raffles every crop too. Her store is attached so if you need/want something, you run up a tab and pay it off at the end of the night.

That is so very tempting. :cloud9: Does the store have a website? You can PM me if you don't want to post it.

Yup. I think I can post it here. I'm not affiliated with the store in anyway. I just spend a lot of money there :) I'm going on the bus tour and the Halloween party if you are interested

There is actually a "picture" of me on the website during a crop. I ducked so you couldn't actually see me :)

This is the kind of store I have been looking for! It sounds like so much fun!

I may have to check it out.... The projects I have won't finish themselves!;)

Great updates. I am still loving all your pictures. :thumbsup2

Yay I am caught up!!!!!

Loving the TR! And I LOVE all your pictures! I'm also a picture-snapper (I always tell the family to just keep going if I suddenly stop...I'll catch up  ). It's also neat to see someone else's perspective, and what they take pictures of that I didn't even notice.

Yay! You are caught up!

I could just go to WDW and take pictures, that would make me happy.

I knew I couldn't get that one past you. :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

I've been away on a business trip and missed 7+ pages of trip reporting! :scared: I tried to take notes on what I wanted to comment on but forgive me if I missed anything. I loved all 7 pages!!

Love, love, LOVE that you and CP have a 2010 list! :goodvibes Now I need one. Peer pressure. ;)

You changed around the pix in your signature. I like the one of DH with the fez and the camel in the background. :thumbsup2

Realityland... very cool book! I can remember riding on the Skyway -- thankfully no incidents during my rides!!

Light fixtures and the new porn thread... :rotfl: You may have started something. I'm off to check out that link right after this.

Hall of Presidents- I haven't been in that attraction for a good 15+ years. I'm really looking forward to seeing it again before it goes down for rehab. I wonder if they are already at work on Obama and McCain animatronics and they'll just scrap the "loser"??

The photo of you with Captain Hook covering up Tink pn your chest with the map is hysterical!! :lmao:

Tiki Room - I'm not sure I've been to "under new management" in WDW but I was in the original last summer in Disneyland and loved it. And to make things even better they have a special window for Dole Whips in the queue area. :cloud9:

I'm not sure I've seen a bad hair day but the day you call out as a good hair day was definitely a pretty picture. :)

Hotel window decoration - I'm hearing rumors that Disney is going to charge a fee if you want to decorate your window?? :confused3

And lastly thanks for the cheeseburger food porn..now I'm starving!

The first thing we did once we were at Magic Kingdom was to find the Lady & The Tramp paw prints. I knew there were by Tony's on Main Street but we had a bit of trouble. DH was just about to go off and find a CM to ask but then I spotted them. Under a stroller. That's right! Someone had the audacity to put their stroller over the paw prints. I moved the stroller a bit to look at them and was a bit disappointed, I guess I was expecting fancier paw prints. I didn't even take a picture, telling DH we would come back to get one later on. We took our time and went through all the Main Street shops on the right side (when facing the castle). We loved the Art store. Man, I could spend so much money in there. We didn't end up buying anything....yet. We took a few photopass pictures. As you can see I tried something new with my hair and wished I hadn't. I was too tired to blow dry it all again since I had taken a shower after my nap. Oh well.

While I was taking these pictures, DH offered to take a picture of a family on the bridge in front of the Castle and then they took our photo.

We headed towards Belle's Storytime Theater. Oh my, how beautiful! I was sorry that we missed Belle that day.

Oh, look. Are those lamps? I hadn't noticed!

One of the things I really wanted to see on this trip was the Wishing Well near the Castle.

2868000432_6f08e367df.jpg

That's my ONE picture of it. Why, you ask? Well that's because there was this family there. They took about 20 million photos with their 52 family members all in different configurations for about 15 minutes before I gave. Not that I'm disgruntled or anything. I couldn't even get up close!

To soothe myself I bought some pins on our way into Fantasyland at a little cart. I bought Snow White for my cubicle mate. Mulan, which is really pretty and Sleeping Beauty with the three fairies on it as well. Pictures of souvies will be at the end.

DH wanted to take some pictures of the Teacup Topiaries.

And of his lovely wife.

At this point I was assaulted.

With Mickey confetti. Or as we called it for the rest of the trip, "The Random Glittering." As I was taking pictures, I felt something fall on my head. I look around and see DH looking very bewildered. Apparently DH watched this male CM "freakishly" sneak up on me Mission Impossible style and then throw Mickey confetti on me. I decided it must have been because of my Birthday button on my bag.

Evidence.

It was very bizarre and a little wierd. Why would a CM just throw confetti on a guest and not stay to admire their handy work. Very odd. I took a picture to calm my nerves.

No evil Teacups for LL!
2867193989_5dff95081d.jpg

We decided to head to Tommorwland. We rode on Carousel of Progress first. We walked right on, but of course. The CM who starts the show kept making wise crack how we chose the boring show and it was time for our nap. How rude! I was very upset about this. I think Carousel of Progress is a classic and it should never ever go away. I took a lot of pictures...

This was DH's first time on COP. He enjoyed it but the theater seats were a little smaller than the other theaters we had encountered.

We walked to the Castle Hub, people were already gathering for the first Spectromagic parade. We took some pictures in front of the Castle and of the Castle lit up.
