It's a Jolly Holiday with LL. *FINISHED* Final Update on pg. 58.

As far as TourGuide Mike goes, I wasn't going to arrange my ADR's for him. Pffft. Plus it's the only night we could get to Fantasmic this week, our nights are pretty solid with the schedule.

Lovely plans for your Monday! :thumbsup2

Sleeping in till 9 am... I can't remember the last time my body proved itself capable of doing so. Probably when I was sick with a sinus infection. I miss having the ability to sleep in. :sad1:

I'm sure you'll be returning to DHS after this day, but don't forget to get your TSM FastPass. Honestly, going later in the day the machines might have run out of them, but you could give it a shot anyway. :goodvibes

Been MIA for a bit but I am totally caught back up now. I love the "what I will be doing in 4 weeks". I'm excited to see what today will bring.

Yes, we do have another DHS day planned. I think we might check out Toy Story Mania but I highly doubt we will ride it this night since all the FP's will be gone and the line probably VERY long.

Hopefully I will get to it very soon. :thumbsup2

I found this on the Photo Thread and thought any of you considering a WL photo session could use this information. :goodvibes I am super excited for mine!

WHERE ARE YOUR LOCATIONS FOR PRIVATE SESSIONS AT THE WL?
Indoor: lobby, fireplace, totem poles, bridge towards Artist Pointe
Outdoor: Covered bridge, bridge over creek, rocks near Geysor, kid's den, bridge towards the DVC and down on the beach.

WHAT ARE YOUR FIRST AND LAST TIME SLOTS AVAILABLE?
First shoot starts at 8am and the last one at 7pm, daily.

WHEN CAN I BOOK MY SESSION?
30 days prior to your arrival. If you are arriving 9-30-08, you can book 8-31-08. It does NOT have to be 30 days prior to your "session", just within a 30 day window of arriving.

We are just cruising right along this week!

Tuesday September 2nd:

Wake Up Call @ 7AM
Yep, it's going to be an early one. That is why I am doubtful that we will be staying late to DHS the previous evening.

Animal Kingdom @ Rope Drop 9AM
One question, is my wake up call going to give us enough time to get to rope drop? DH normally showers at night so it's just me getting ready really, I think I can be out the door by 7:30 - 7:35. Does that give us enough time? I haven't used the Disney bus transportation from the Resorts to Parks so I am just wondering.
Anyhoo. This is our only scheduled time at Animal Kingdom. While I do love the park, I find that I can do my must see's fairly quickly. Especially if we get there at opening.

Lunch - CS @ AK or Pop 1 CS Each
I have no idea how long we will be at AK. In all honesty we may stay for the parade or we might not. I think it depends on our feelings. AK being the hottest park of them all or at least it sure feels like it, I am thinking DH is going to be sweltering and miserable. We must keep the DH happy so we can come back next year. Any suggestions for CS at AK?

Swim/Nap @ Pop
Our standard routine. We are in no rush this afternoon so perhaps we will explore Pop a bit more.

LL & DH's Romantical Evening
I am looking forward to this night so very much. In fact, I am really looking forward to all of our nighttime activities, get your minds out of the gutter people! I am talking about nighttime Park activities, this girl won't be doing anything in the Parks that will jeopardize future trips.
As a rule, I find summer evenings very romantic thus why I am looking forward to our nights in the Parks.
Our Romantical Evening includes....

Kona Cafe @ 7:10PM - 1 TS Each
I absolutely drool over Kona Cafe like no other restaurant. It look so delish. We have even budgeted in money for appetizers because I want to try the Sticky Wings and DH wants to try either the crab cakes or the pot stickers. Mmmmm. Also, can we say KONA KONE?!?! How awesome does that look? I can't wait. I want to go. Now. Right now. I also have another reason for making this night our "official" romantical evening. Kona Cafe is at the Polynesian, where it just so happens LL wants to stay...very badly. So either my great plan will work and DH will look at me over my Kona Kone and say, "LL, this is the most magical place ever. Money is no object, we shall stay here for 2 weeks next year." And I, misty eyed will reply, "Oh DH, I am the luckiest woman ever."
:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:
If my great plan doesn't work, DH will look at me with a snarl and say, "LL, it really isn't worth the money to stay here. I told you so. Neener Neener." To which I will reply with a "Jerk." in the words of Tinkerbellarella or I will glance around and say, "You are right, what the @*&^% was I thinking? Let's go take a look at Grand Flo!"
Because folks, I reserve the right to change my mind at anytime. :rolleyes1

Indulge in some Lapu Lapu's
I *think* you can get Lapu Lapu's at Kona Cafe. I am not 100% sure, either way I will be indulging. Be it at Kona or the Tambu Lounge.

Electrical Water Pageant
The plan is that we will probably watch from the Poly at 9PM but because I am a planner I have all the times that it goes by the resorts. So if we have time to catch at a different resort and we feel like making the trek, so be it. It is our romantical evening after all.

I am really underestimating our days for a couple of reasons. Neither of us are in the greatest shape and I want to take it easy. DH hasn't been since he was 13 so I think he is greatly underestimating all the walking he will be doing. We don't operate well together when either of us are cranky. I don't want us to get too tired and bicker through our whole trip. This could very well be our only trip just the two of us before we add little nuggets to the mix. I want to enjoy the more "adult" aspects of WDW. I want to see the little details and just appreciate WDW more than I normally do, kwim? If I want to park myself on a bench for two hours to people watch, I will. If I want to take 50 pictures of the Lady & The Tramp footprints in all different kinds of light, I will. :thumbsup2

I need your help with something. I have found a couple of MNSSHP designs that I like for my party tshirt. Which do you like better?? I need you to vote! :goodvibes

I am a bit indecisive, I like them all for different reasons! :confused3 I will reveal which tshirt I have chosen with your help on our MNSSHP day. :goodvibes

I vote for #6, and I'm very jealous of your romantical evening plans!
I am really excited for our Romantical Evening. I think it will be fun and the Polynesian brain washing can begin!

I'm very indecisive with things like this. I'd probably be tempted to make one of each.
I can't make more than one MNSSHP! Just one. Don't tempt me! I am already making a bazillion other ones! :lmao:

I agree, sneakers are the way to go! I will be sporting LGMH's so say hello if you spot me. :thumbsup2

Unfortunately your last night is the day we arrive. However, I know you will be at the MNSSHP that night, and DBF and I need to go there to get our MNSSHP tickets. (Due to the fact that we went last year, it got rained out, they are giving us free ones for this year that have to be picked up at guest services at MK.) We were planning on doing a CS dinner there, but I'm not sure if we will be let in due to the party going on. Anyone out there know the rules on this? I believe that unless I have a MNSSHP ticket, that after 7pm regular park goers will not be let in, and it will be cutting it close to get there before that time. I will certainly keep my eyes akimbo if we are there, cause I would love to meet you guys! :goodvibes

I like all of the t-shirt designs. I'm voting for #1 though. I like that it has the castle in the background.

I like t-shirt designs #1 and #3. This is something we need to be thinking about too. I bought the same transfer paper you did, just haven't bought the shirts! Also, I just have to share this with you as you will appreciate it. This morning while writing the date on something I realized it's exactly 30 days till our trip! I got a little overexcited at the workplace. However, shortly thereafter, I was walking down the hall (I work in a medical office) and I spotted something shiny and mickey-head shaped on the floor. I said, that can't be. Well, I turned around and picked it up and it was a small, red piece of Mickey confetti! How crazy is that?!? I told a patient of mine that is also a Disney veteran and she said the mouse wants me to come! :rotfl: Just had to share as it was very oddly timed! Hope you had a great day as well!

Okay, I love the one with Stitch that says Got Candy? That is too cute. But I really love Halloween, so I'm for all the designs!:lmao:

I love the Romantical evening. And you're wise to schedule some down time. Remember, if you're feeling tired, or hot, or cranky, sit down. Take a load off. Have a Dole Whip. Savvy?

:goodvibes

I like the pumpkin shaped one the best....and Got Candy? would be my second choice.

On travel times: I usually give myself 1 hour to get from my hotel room to the gate of the park. Most of the time we had 20 to 30 minutes to wait for the opening show. And for some reason it always takes me more time to get ready in a hotel room then at home even thou I'm super organized with my beauty products and such.

Could you put a different design on the back? You'd be able to use two :lmao:
:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: I can't do that because I am too crazy about the images matching.

Well, if you're doing two, then I'd pick #2 and #6!
:lmao: I really like #2 as well.

That's too bad that we will just miss each other. That's nice that they are giving you tickets for this year though!!

I like all of the t-shirt designs. I'm voting for #1 though. I like that it has the castle in the background.
I was all set to use that one because I really like it. I just love stitch's personality and then I got looking at other designs.....

That is such a cute story! I went to work yesterday and there were some LGMH's on my keyboard. I freaked a bit thinking I had some creepy stalker and then remembered that redsox721 goes on here too and she works with me. :lmao:

I just adore Stitch. I think he's adorable.

I am not going to run myself ragged while we are there. I really want to enjoy this trip. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the info on the travel times. I have been figuring at least an hour in all of our plans so I think we will be in good shape! :goodvibes
