It's a Jolly Holiday with LL. *FINISHED* Final Update on pg. 58.

Yay for getting a bag you like! I'm of the opinion that if you know you prefer one thing to another, you should get the preferred thing. Otherwise you end up with buyer's remorse because you purchased something you're really not happy with, and then you (well, I) feel like the money was wasted. So rather than "spending more money," you made an investment in a bag you'll truly be happy with. :goodvibes

And just seven more Mondays to get through until you're in the World! I'm happy for you, but jealous for myself. :rotfl:

Oh the bag drama! I've begun the perfect bag search as well, as you just KNOW I'm going to be the keeper of the diapers, cups, etc. for the two little ones. It's gotta be a comfortable bag!

I'm in love.

I want one!

You know the Walmart store will take those bags back.

I'm still really happy with my crocs bag (people check out my PTR for pix).
I want to see the crocs backpack in person before I buy that for DH.

Joining in!!! Loving your ptr.

You and your DF are so cute together. And your cats are adorable.
That you so much and welcome to my crazy musings. :goodvibes

I think you are right. As of this morning, because once I get up and am at work I count the day as over, yes this is how my brain works. Only FIVE more monday mornings to wake up and go to work and the sixth one will be in WDW!!!

Darling Java Blue messenger bag!!! That's one of the patterns I really like! :thumbsup2
I love it. The other reason I gave DH was that we could use it when we have kids. I was pulling out all the stops!

I recommend this bag. It's awesome and large enough for everything but not too large.

I want one!
I really really really really wants one. I need to go see if anyone posted pics of the Northwestern crew at EPCOT this weekend.

I took the tags off one, will they still take it? I love your crocs bag but I think it's a little big for me.

Oh, LL! LL of the debating bag sort.

Tee hee.

I'm glad you found something you really, really liked. Because if you really, really like it, that means you'll use it a lot, and if you use it a lot, I as your budget buddy, can sanction the purchase of said expensive but oh so cute bag.

Seriously, if you know you're going to use something, sometimes it's better to just bite the bullet and go for quality expensive than something less so that you know you'll have to replace.

I can't belive I just said that but it's true.

And as far as the Croc flippies, I'll be happy to let you know what I think when I get mine and see if they're something you're truly interested in.

I just blanked on what else I was going to write!:lmao:

Oh, yes, I'm lovin' the t-shirt ideas, too cute.:thumbsup2

It really is true. I am one that will end up spending more money trying to not buy the more expensive thing with cheaper substitues. It's hard being me sometimes. :lmao:

Please do let me know. I ordered a different style of croc flippies that I didn't like but those ones are calling my name.

I love the t-shirts too. I am trying to hold myself back from ordering the deadliest catch one. I  it!

Sadly I do not have a picture of the most perfect bag that I used. I bought it at Walmart. It was $12.88, it was purple. It was perfect.

Since I booked this trip, I have been looking for the most perfect bag. I ordered this bag from walmart.com in hopes of capturing the former glory of former bag.

I liked the look of the Overland Donner bag so we went to REI and I purchased it with a coupon.
Mine is purple.

I'm taking it that purple is a favorite color? ;)

So glad you found a bag that you like. I'm hoping that the Baggalini works for me. I'm not usually one to sling bags across my chest as they never seem to work on me being more full figured. I think it should be okay worn over one shoulder. I plan on bringing my trusty Very Bradleyesque knapsack with my anyways just to be on the safe side.

I leave you with this final thought courtesy of CP...

ONLY SIX MORE MONDAY MORNINGS AT WORK UNTIL I AM IN WALT DISNEY WORLD!

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

According to my itinerary in 7 weeks I will be sleeping in until 9am after a long evening at Magic Kingdom and heading to EPCOT for our Coral Reef lunch at 11:30pm. :cloud9:[/QUOTE]

Oooo this sounded so good I had to double check mine too. 5 more Mondays before I'm hanging with the Mouse! In 6 weeks I'll be making the morning dash for Soarin Fast Passes and then heading over to Test Track and Mission Space.

Sooo Close!

Whatever makes you think that purple is my favorite color? :lmao:
Isn't it a great thought and feeling? Ahhh...WDW.

Speaking of WDW, where do you want to meet for our mini LapuLapuette meet??

I agree! It's a purchase you feel good about; therefore it isn't wasteful. :thumbsup2

I'm the same way. Now, I feel unbelievably successful when I find inexpensive things that do work for me. Like my denim skirt for $12.;)

Please do let me know. I ordered a different style of croc flippies that I didn't like but those ones are calling my name.

I really like the pattern on the capri I ordered, I think it's cute and that's what drew me to it in the first place. It doesn't "look" like a Croc.

I love the t-shirts too. I am trying to hold myself back from ordering the deadliest catch one. I  it!

Try to hold back, girl! Just think of all the things you'll see in Disney World!:goodvibes

DH pointed out to me this morning when I was whining...ahem extolling the virtues of the shirt and about how much I want it that I could technically buy it with my fun money this week that we decided to set aside each paycheck. I think I totally am going to do it!

DH told me he wants to buy a peticure for the cats in order to clip their nails better with his fun money. :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: I still chuckle about it when I think about it.

He was still shaking his head at me, not believing that I went for it. Like a good wife, I did get his blessing. Head shaking is good for you every once in a while.

Just an FYI on the head shaking.
It's a genetic deformity of the Y chromosome in relation to:
shoe purchases
purse/bag purchases
make-up purchases
why we don't agree that what their mom says is always the best idea

I know I need some sturdy sneakers so I must be on the lookout.

Try Marshalls. Last time I was there they had a few different brands, on clearance no less. They had some New Balance (my preferred sneak) for $31. BF goes through a lot of sneakers between work and the gym and he called me an "ANGEL!" when I introduced him to Marshalls. I quote, "WOW! I didn't even know this place existed! This might be the best store on earth!"

ONLY SIX MORE MONDAY MORNINGS AT WORK UNTIL I AM IN WALT DISNEY WORLD!

Oooo. I need to go do this. It makes it all sound so much closer!
:moped:
::ahem::

Not including today, NINE MONDAYS UNTIL I'M IN DISNEY!!!

Yay for fun money! I need to budget that in for me, too; I spent $3.77 in cash at Borders to make up for what a gift card didn't cover. And I felt guilty. For spending $3.77 that was not included in my budget. :headache:

So I guess that's a sign my budget will work, but seriously, I need to include a small amount of fun money to cover things like this. That way once I reach my fun money limit, I won't be able to go "It's only $3.77" three times in a row and then get myself out of budget.

Just an FYI on the head shaking.

Anyone else see the discrepancy between the head-shaking and the proclamations of you as a celestial being? I mean, hello! If we didn't shop, how would we know about all these wondrous stores to tell the men about?

TK stressed the importance of fun money. I think that is why I yo-yo with debt. I needed a new approach this time. :thumbsup2

Our flight doesn't get in until 12:30ish.

I was thinking late afternoon?? We are going to EPCOT that afternoon/evening. Any suggestions? I was thinking we could meet at the Poly and have a lapu lapu toast to the other lapulapuettes....?? I am up for anything. Or you could meet us at EPCOT or wherever. Any preferences?
