Is there any doubt that I won't take a bazillion pictures? My dad has been giving me pointers for fireworks and nighttime photography too.
I hope you are ready for a bazallion pictures from the honeymoon! (Get your mind out of the gutter!) That is what I am most excited about, getting to know my camera better and taking lots of pictures. Photography makes me happy.

Very cool. I don't have a tripod, so I wouldn't be able to take clear night photos. Although my camera does have a nightime and fireworks feature on it, so maybe I'll test it out. Then again, maybe not. I don't really forsee myself taking a ton of pics...I know we'll use photopass, and I'll do those moments you wouldn't expect like goofing off, but as far as making the boys pose or whatever, I think I'm just going to enjoy the vacay and what pics we take, we take.

Very cool. I don't have a tripod, so I wouldn't be able to take clear night photos. Although my camera does have a nightime and fireworks feature on it, so maybe I'll test it out. My mom got a really cute one of her and nana right outside the Haunted Mansion. They take your pic in front of the horseless carriage, and then magically, a ghost appears when it's developed! Disney magic, of course!

Okay...that and spending time with DF. I would like to be a fly on the wall when you have the talk with DF though, it would be very amusing.

I imagine the talk would be very Captain Jack-esque...

My mom got a really cute one of her and nana right outside the Haunted Mansion. They take your pic in front of the horseless carriage, and then magically, a ghost appears when it's developed! Disney magic, of course!

I want to do the one at DHS where they have you sword fight with Captain Hook and I dream of the one where Stitch in on a bench eating ice cream, I just love that one!

Well...he scares me. Seriously. DF was so upset afterwards that I emailed the guy on his website and I got a very nasty email back and it just made me so disgusted. Not professional at all. Told me that we didn't enjoy comedy and a lot of other nasty things.

Said unnamed comedian is lucky I didn't know LL personally at the time. Because said comedian wouldn't be able to perform without his tongue. Which might proudly display in a jar. On a shelf. "Playing" is one thing. Comedy to the extent that it hurts someone's feelings is something else entirely. And I'm sure your DF isn't the only one he's made feel uncomfortable. The man (the comedian, not DF) needs to learn how to take constructive criticism. PM me if you're willing to share who it was.

Ooh, wish I'd had someone to teach me how to take night pix. I didn't even attempt fireworks pix because mine never come out.

I wish I was going to be here for 4th of July so I could practice but alas I will be on the cruise. The biggest thing is the steady hand/tripod. My camera has a stabilizer so I am hoping to get "decent" ones. I will teach you at LapuLapu FabbyFest 2009

I have already let it be known that MIL is not allowed near me until after the Wedding Ceremony. No mushy gushy I always wanted a daughter bull before the wedding. I will be able to be more gracious and daughter in law like afterwards.
