I just want you to know that I do not at all mean to come off as preachy. I just am so open about my experiences, because I hope that if my "wisdom", if it may be called such, can help someone else out, then things I've gone through will be even more worth it. There's so many things I didn't know, or realize, and I'm just so happy to share.

I am very lucky that I work part time, and my mother watches DS for me. Actually, it's become a whole family affair. My mom does her business out of my nana's house, so when she needs to go to work, my nana comes over and stays with DS till my mom is done. I am so lucky. If you can swing the opposite schedules thing, good for you. A lot of people do it, and I applaud them. It seems hard, but totally worth it.

Not preachy at all, I like talking to someone who tells it like it is! I wish I lived close enough to my mom to have her watch future child. But we live about 70 minutes away and that just doesn't work. We would love for me to work part time but I don't see it happening, who knows though. Some of DF's cousins are having babies so down the road we might be able to do a childcare share thing. Of course MIL has offered to watch future baby on her day off but luckily that is DF's day off too.

Usually my DH will go in a different room. If not, I do.

Our apartment is so small that wherever I go I can still hear.... They are done now and no dinner invites for the weekend. I need as little interaction as possible until after the wedding stress and then my coping skills will be better.

Awww, that is sweet. I love Lilo & Stitch! What a great memory. I will have to try and squeeze something in. We are getting DF and I's pictures taken before the ceremony with only us and my aunt (the photographer). I am really looking forward to that alone, peaceful moment. MIL already offered to come and we both shouted, "NO!" at the same time.
The wedding is close! The invitations went out on Tuesday. We had these huge envelopes because we sent each guest an 8x8 scrapbook page to do instead of a traditional signature guest book. They are supposed to send it back with their reply. I am really looking forward to looking at all of the different things everyone does. A lot of the wedding has been do it yourself. My mom made my dress, DF's aunt is making the cake, my aunt is the photographer, we made the invites, the centerpieces....almost everything. I should post pics of the invites...I love them. I feel like I don't talk enough about the happy wedding stuff. And so far...my new engagement ring is holding up!

I feel like all I do is complain about Wedding Stress, so here are two things that make me really happy from the Wedding.

Here is my invitation, don't mind the big black blocks!

That is the park we are getting married at. My parents were married there in 1979 and my Dad took that picture last summer.

This is at the park too, my dad took this picture as well. I really like the response cards, I am hoping to get some good Exclamations! I also wanted to give people a feel that this wasn't your traditional formal wedding.

I love the scrapbook instead of guest book idea. Much more personal that way. I had a friend who had everyone sign pre-cut squares of fabric with permanant fabric pens at her wedding. You could write or draw whatever you wanted on them for the bride and groom. Later a friend of hers sewed them all into a quilt for her. I thought that was pretty neat too. I love seeing some different things.

Today I was very accomplished. I ran a bunch of errands and completed two Disney related tasks. First up, DF and I went to Michaels were I proceeded to spend an obscene amount of money on Disney related things for my binder. All of those cute little Disney Jolee's Boutique things were 40% off, I couldn't resist! Needless to say...I spent $52.... Ahh well, it's just an expensive week for me...Wilderness Lodge....$52 at Michael's. I can't wait to work on my binder tomorrow. After purchasing all that fun stuff, I have decided I am going to make it a planning/memory/keep it forever binder. I highly doubt I will use everything I bought so I will just save it for the next one! DF is cute, he said if it makes me happy and busy so be it. I took full advantage of this mentality.
Second, we went to Wal*Mart and got the regular household stuff, nothing Disney related there. Sad. As we were walking back to our car, I realized that we had gone shopping in the wrong direction of Home Depot! I have been trying to get there for the last two weekends and I was going to get there by george! We drove a bit out of the way to Home Depot and were able to successfully accomplish the Mickey Head mission. I had to explain to DF what they were all about, he just couldn't grasp that there would be Mickey Heads at HD, until I told him that they had Disney paint...duuurrr why else would they have MH's?? I got a fair amount of MH's with DF's help. We make it out to the car and he is teasing me because I won't count them in the car until we are out of the parking lot, so he does and says, "You can tell all your Dis friends that your DF helped." He referred to himself as DF! I was so impressed that he was picking up the Dis Lingo! It was cute and adorable and I drove the long way home that he prefers and I hate. We also went to lunch at Cracker Barrel, we had never been before and it was very pleasant. A good day all around! Oh yes, we were able to get 31 LGMH's and when I told him I need an assortment, he grabbed all LGMH's, all well they are an important color.
I am happy to report that we got our MNSSHP Tickets in the mail yesterday. I am very excited. Makes the trip even more real.
I know I have been promising updated itinerary and must do's but I have been working on figuring out the park hours and such for the most accurate itinerary. Hopefully tomorrow...if I am not too busy making my binder pretty!

However, we always do value and were booked to stay at POP this year but a couple of weeks after we made our ressies DBF announced on the way home from work that he had switched us to POFQ but I could change to a diff. mod if I wanted! We ended up at CSR, so that is a change for us. Also, your invites are great! So original and beautiful! Where's mine??? I feel like I'm forgetting to comment on something, but oh well! Why is it when I try to plan my itinerary I have to make a million and ONE changes!?! I feel so discombobulated! (Side note...I just spell checked because I thought for sure discombobulated was spelled wrong...either I am really smart or it is so wrong spell check was duped) Needless to say, I am once again doubting some of my ADR's, I am thinking I might cancel one or two and I am freaking out about missing some must see's on my lists. Ugh. I need to go take a chill pill.
I did do a few pages in my binder today that I am very pleased with, they came out really cute. I also found a new camera to buy. I want to upgrade mine. I have a Kodak EasyshareOne. I love it but I want a better zoom and picture taking options. I want the Kodak Easyshare Z812 IS Digital Camera.

Isn't it purdy!? I talked DF into getting it, my persuasion powers must be working overtime this week, I want to do a little more research but I am thinking a Kodak purchase will be in my near future.
I hope everyone had a fab mother's day ( I am channeling 2ScottishPrincesses) and I am off to "sleep" on my itinerary woes.
