Shhhh-don't tell DH. We have a plan to move to Alabama when we retire (closer to WDW, and good golf). If he hears this, he'll definitely change his mind-he hates cold weather. For me, I wouldn't mind weather like that occassionally. What part of Alabama is 27 degrees?

27 degrees??? That's a heat wave here in Fargo...no, seriously. We're looking at a very warm weekend of around 35 degrees. People are walking around without coats on. Heck, I've even seen folks in shorts.

Ok..I could of sworn I posted a reply earlier this morning... ...unless there is another Cold in Alabama thread going on lol..

anyways, I lived in Alabama for a year and half back in 81/82. I moved down in Jan..and I was just so shocked...it was extremely cold. When I left Ohio it was actually warm, not by much, but still warmer. During that same winter they had quite a nice snow storm, and I still laugh when I think of the 'Bama' version of a salt truck. A pickup truck, with 2 guys in the back, dumping bags of salt out the back on the road.

I miss the real BBQ sandwiches with the coleslaw on top..

When I left for work this morning at 6 the wind chill was 2. I don't want snow this week because we leave in the morning for WDW. Now next week it can snow all it wants to. Last week at the end of the week they were saying maybe snow of Thursday. I told DH that we would be staying at the airport if there was one flake of snow. Last week it was in the upper 60's and next week it is suppose to be in the 60's. That is the thing about weather in Alabama. Stick around for a while because it will change soon enough.
