It's 17 degrees out and it's what?

And has been for some time.

If I had a choice between snow and sleet, I'll take the snow.

Everyone north of us it getting hammered with what the news people are calling "a snow storm of historical proportions!"

Not here. Not yet anyway.

It started snowing here before 4:00 a.m. and still coming down! They are calling for us to get 8-10 inches.
I didn't really want to be snowed in today
I had plans to go to the gym first thing this morning, but I haven't even seen a salt truck come around yet. Roads look bad.

Actual air temp here is -15 and the windchill is -30 give or take. I dont' think we are supposed to get that storm though Blondie. Stay safe and warm!

Ummmm, yeah, we are getting snow, snow and more snow here out by dulles airport in Northern Va. We already have close to a foot and it's just coming down, it's very pretty (since I don't have to go anyplace ) Just wondering if the kids will have school on tuesday. maggie

Hi Blondie!

I feel your pain! I live in Waynesboro and it's sleeting like crazy out there right now and it's about 16 degrees. I'd rather have snow than ice, but at least I'm not going to have to shovel a couple of feet of snow like our friends north of us.

It's 20 degrees here Northeast of Philly and they're talking 18 to 23 inches by tomorrow night!

But it's exactly zero degrees with -30 wind chill.....

It was supposed to be minus 40 (actual air temp - before wind chill) in some places last night. I think I would rather have snow too.

20 degrees here in Richmond and it's been sleeting since 4pm Saturday night. What looks like a beautiful covering of snow on the ground is pure ice. Ick. I would rather deal with 2 feet of snow!
