iTouch - white screen

Has anyone had this happen? My dd's iTouch is giving her a white screen. The battery ran out, and it happened after charging. (We have a reservation at the Apple store tomorrow.)

Hold down the menu button and the power button and wait 10 seconds. This should reset it. (I had to ask DS7)

It should help that the unit only has two buttons (other than volume) and you hold both of them down.

It worked! Thanks all. (And yeah, I was wondering about the button, since I think of it as the home button. I hadn't had my coffee yet when I read it!)
