itouch apps/downloads

My wi-fi connection is on the fritz.....dd wants some free apps on her itouch. Can I get them on-line and sync it to her itouch - the same way I can get tunes?

I'm been looking at the apple site and getting confused and frustrated. Can anyone help?

Yes, you can get them through iTunes. Just go into the App Store, select the ones you want, download them and then sync your DD's Touch and they'll be transferred.
