I'm getting my dd a new i-touch for Christmas. Which one should I get? The price difference is about $70 for th32 GB. Is it worth it to have that much more memory? I'm thinking it probably is but I know nothing about technology, lol. TIA

We went with the 32. My husband insisted since he wanted to download movies on it. He said 32 was overkill but would handle all the music, appps. and movies the kids wanted.

He said with an 8 , he would have to keep changing the movies. It might hold one or two.

ETA: She will also need room for the pictures and video she takes. My daughter took 2000 pictures on on trip to WDW and DCL.

If you can afford it, get the one with the most memory. When they download songs and MOVIES, they run out of disk space quickly. My son is a musician and he has terabytes of music/movies stored on our home network. :scared1:

If she has any plans to use it for video/movies, get the larger one.

If you can spend the extra money I would get the larger memory. DS got the 8GB in June of last year and has filled it up, so this Christmas he is getting the 32GB (mom gets the old 8GB). :D

we have a saying.. go big or go home. :lmao:

if you can afford the extra cash.. go for the 32. there so many free apps out there. I filled my 16 in no time.

My kids both have 8 GB and have probably 50 applications, 50 songs, and 4 or so movies on theirs and still haven't hit the 50% mark on their memory.
