  • Staying at Beach Club
  • We take breaks midday and go to hotel, then early DDP dinner, then back to PM park
My biggest question is about the weekends in August after locals are back in school. Am I nuts to try to do Epcot on Saturday AM and DHS on Sunday AM? In my reading, someone mentioned AK is terrible on the weekend and most other days for EP and DHS are rated as busy by Touring Plans. Would you recommend a different order?

Would love ANY thoughts you have.
  • Wednesday, Aug 21 – PM Arrival - Do EP – Get familiar with transportation locations, ferry, skyliner, start using MDE for ride times. Settle in.
  • Thursday, Aug 22 – DHS in AM --> EP in PM
  • Friday, Aug 23 – MK only in AM (MNSSHP) --> AK in PM (MK closes at 7pm)
  • Saturday, Aug 24 – EP in AM --> MK in PM
  • Sunday, Aug 25 – DHS in AM and PM (our last time at DHS)
  • Monday, Aug 26 – AK in AM --> EP in PM (flex if first PM in EP was productive)
  • Tuesday, Aug 27 – Flex day – Maybe MK in AM to end on MK? MK closes at 7pm. Go to our favorite places we want to end on.

Based on UT crowd calendar, maybe switch Monday's plan back to Saturday, Bump Saturday to Sunday, Sunday to Monday (DHS)

Just one comment, on MNSSHP days, MK will close at 6PM, not 7PM.

The party officially begins at 7PM but the park closes to day guests at 6PM.

I would avoid EPCOT on the weekends if it coincides with F&W (which I believe is only the last weekend in August this year). But if it’s only the AM, it may not be too bad.
