Ok, we have the airplane tickets and now I need to figure out what to do and when to do it.

There will just be the two of us, kids are staying at home with the grandparents.

We are staying onsite and, when possible, would like to take advantage of EE days, but from what I found they don't really mesh with our time there. Also, on the days that we don't do early entry we'd want to avoid the EE park.

We will arrive at MCO on Tuesday, September 28 (11:50AM arrival) and fly out on Saturday, October 2 at 5PM. So we will have 1/2 day on Tuesday, all day Wed, Th, and Fri, and 1/2 day on Saturday.

Some of our thoughts:

Either Halloween Horror Nights at Universal or MNSSHP. They would be on the same night so can't go to both. We really don't care about a lot of what MK would have to do on that night, but might be able to use that time to get everything done that we'd want to do at the MK (rides) so we wouldn't need to go another day.

Segway Tour I'd need to call and see if there is availability.

Pleasure Island one evening

We'd like to have dinner at California and Boma

We want to spend some time at the Food and Wine Festival

Seems that our evenings are pretty well spoken for since we will do the Halloween activity (either HHN or MNSSHP), Pleasure Island, Boma, and CA Grill. What about my days?

Half a day should be enough for AK and a 1/2 day for MK (or just the MNSSHP). A full day for MGM, a day and a half-two days for Epcot. If we go to one of the Halloween parties on 10/1 we probably won't do the EE the following morning, but that's the only MGM EE we'd be able to go to.

See what I mean? I'm really confused about how to fit in what we want to do.

Is there hope for me???

Thanks, T&B :teeth:

Let's see...I personally like to break my days in half.

I'm going in October and this is what my schedule looks like:

Tue. 10/26: arrive from HRH, spend the evening in DD, maybe a park (depending on what time we get to WDW from USF)

Wed. 10/27: morning, MK
afternoon, EPCOT (PS at Le Cellier)

Thu. 10/28: morning, MGM
afternoon, MK
MNSSHP (PS at LTT)

Fri. 10/29: morning, EPCOT
afternoon, MGM (Fantasmic Package at H&V)

Sat. 10/30: morning, AK
(dinner PS at Boma)

I am actually avoiding EE, mainly because those parks will be more crowded those mornings.

Personally, I would choose MNSSHP for a short trip because the transportation time to Universal would eat up time. From what I've read, you could actually enter MK as early as 4 p.m. for the MNSSHP, so what you could do is just use that time for your MK time, and spend the remaining free time in other parks.

Also, with PI, unless you plan to have dinner there, you could actually just go there after the parks close. Maybe choose the park that closes earliest as your PI day. So for example, since AK closes at about 5 p.m., you could go to PI that day. Or if MGM closes at 7:30 or 8, you could go to PI after that?

I think what I would do first is plan out your evenings since the evening activities are a priority to you, then fill inthe days with the parks that are most conveneint. Another idea is to have an early dinner at CA Grill, then to to MNSSHP.

Good luck, keep us posted!

I guess I hadn't really thought of splitting up our days since the hours will be short, but with the two of us it would be easy to do. I'm used to going during the slow season (with the short hours) and with a child and a stroller, which makes it harder to go from park to park. We are planning on driving to the parks except the MK, so it would be easy to hop to a different one.

Have fun at Universal and HRH! We've spend the last couple Florida vacations there and my DH hasn't been to WDW in a several years (that's fine with him, he's not a Disney nut like I am). The FOTL is awesome!

I need to get my DH to decide which Halloween party since that will influence our park time (will then want to spend a few hours at MK if we don't go to MNSSHP). I think that I want the MK party, but it's tempting to go to HHN since we won't have kids with us.

Decisions!
