Hi All, perhaps you can help:

Whenever I go to look into a cruise, and choose "itinerary," an "Adobe Flash Player" square appears right on top of the map. I've tried everything I can think of to get it to disappear, but it won't. Today, it froze my screen. :confused3

All I want to do is see where the ship goes; I'm not interested in saving information or getting into an eternal relationship with Adobe.

Any solutions?

Thanks!

It's telling you that in order to see the itinerary maps, you need to download Adobe. I get that with some sites.

What browser are you using?

Try a different web browser and see if that makes a difference. Otherwise, we'll have to wait until one of our technical friends here on the DIS pipes in.

Hi, and thanks for responding.
Hitting "deny" doesn't work.
I'm on Firefox, and have resisted uploading adobe, but I guess I'll have to do it.
Thanks

Had the same problem with Firefox. Went to the itinerary spot in Safari (mac) and was able to click the allow button. That fixed it. I was also able to the same in Explorer on my work PC.

Hi esta1701:
I'm computer semi-illiterate. If you could explain a bit more about what you did, that would help me.
I have a PC.
Thanks.

Try logging in to your computer with Internet Explorer instead of Firefox. That's probably the easiest "first step".

These things drive me nuts. There are some things that I absolutely can't do when I'm using AOL, so I switch to Firefox, and if that doesn't work, I'll switch to Internet Explorer......ugh......:badpc::badpc::badpc:

open internet explorer on your pc. Go to the disney itinerary map where the flash window pops up. In explorer, you should be able to click on the "allow" button. For some reason, I was never able to click "allow" in Firefox. Once you click allow in Explorer, it will continue to work even if you go back to Firefox.

Hope that helps.

justmestace and esta1701: IT WORKED! Thanks for the information. Now I can enjoy the itinerary map without the pop-up. :cool1:
