Hi everyone, we leave on May 9th for our 1st trip to WDW! It's me, dh , ds almost 7 and dd almost 4. We arrive at MCO around 1:30 p.m.- pick up rental car and will be staying at Windsor Hills. I have no park day planned for our arrival day...just will pick up odds and ends at grocery store before checking in at condo.
We do not have Park Hopper passes...we have 7 day with plusses (kiddos want to go to waterparks)
Here's the rest of my planned days:
Wed.10-MK all day- w/ break midday at condo
Thurs.11-Epcot all day- break midday
Fri.12-MGM-all day-possible break
Sat.13- (ds bday!)-MK-all day-break midday
Sun.14-AK-all day
Mon.15th-19th-cruise on RCCL Soverign of Seas to celebrate 10 yr. anniverasry(honeymoon we never had-LONG STORY)
Fri.19-get back from cruise early but will only have probably 1/2 day at parks-what should we do???? MK or waterpark?
Sat. 20-MK or waterpark?
Sun 21-MGM SW
Mon. 22- fly out at 10:30 a.m. no park day
I had originally wanted to spend our last full day at MK but it isn't recommended.
HELP!!!! I'm not sure what I could switch around....should we do a waterpark our 1st week and then again before we leave. Should we only do 1 day at MGM...that day being the 21st? I need advice PLEASE!

Your itinerary looks pretty good to me. Just a few observations for you -

-I'm not familiar with the location of Windsor Hills but make sure you are being realistic about the amount of time it will take you to get to/from the parks on your midday breaks. Depending which park you are leaving, it could take some time before you are on the road back to the condo (and likewise upon your return)

-I'm assuming, based on your children's ages, that you are planning to skip quite a bit at Epcot right? One day probably wouldn't be enough to see it all with a little one in tow. If you want to see everything, I'd allocate more time - each half of the park could realistically take a whole day to see on their own.

-I'd suggest going to a waterpark for the half day upon returning from your cruise. Even if you aren't in a rush to debark the ship, they start making announcements in your cabin at about 6:30 or 7:00 am so you'll all be up early. Hitting a park might be a bit much - do a fun/beach bum day at the waterpark. (PS-enjoy Sovereign - we sailed her last year & enjoyed it!)

-You might want to have a "plan B" for that second day at MGM. We find it is a pretty quick park to get through and, even with a little one slowing you up, it's likely you'll see it all in one day. I think that, unless there's something you want to see again, the second day might not be necessary. If SW is Seaworld, that's a great alternative!

Anyway, just my thoughts on the matter. Have a great trip to WDW & enjoy your cruise!

Thanks for the input. Also since we have the 6 plusses on our ticket is there anything else we should do other than the waterparks?

Gosh, I don't know if I'm qualified to answer that. We're usually only there for a long weekend so we stick to the main parks when we go and sometimes the water parks. I'm not even sure what the options open to you are.

Can anyone else on the board weigh in on her plus options???
