Please review my itenerary.
This is for a family of 4 (2 children ages 5 and 8) - this is their first trip, and Uncle Jason (myself) and Auntie Missy. We are staying offsite (it was free!!) so avoiding EE mornings. We arrive late March 9 (11:30pm) and depart March 18 (10:30am) so will not be doing anything but travel those 2 days. Is there too much stuff planned? Missing something you consider essential? Better day to do something?
Monday, 10 March.
- Magic Kingdom (the essence of Disney), start with the best.
- Midday break essential. Recuperate from late flight arrival, early morning.
- Early dinner, off to Epcot. Either tour the front of the park while most our in the back watching "Illuminations" or go watch Illuminations ourselves.
Tuesday, 11 March
- Animal Kingdom
- Fantasmic (optional) at 7 pm.
Wednesday, 12 March
- First of 2 scheduled "off" days. We can do many things, sleep in, stay home and relax, go to Blizzard Beach waterpark, gatorland, shopping at downtown Disney, fishing. Each family could choose their own activity. Chef Mickey's for character meal Dinner.
Thursday, 13 March
- MGM Disney Studios.
- Fantasmic could also be seen this night. Two shows 7pm and 8:30pm. Could also see it for the second time if everyone liked the first one.
Friday, 14 March
- Seaworld.
- Cirque du Soleil, possible night out for the adults.
Saturday, 15 March
- 2nd "off" day. Same as 1st "off" day.
Sunday, 16 March
- Cinderella's Royal Table character breakfast (Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, etc.), 8:25 am, in the castle.
- Ride the monorail over to Epcot (9am - 9pm). Go see the stuff we didn't do the first day. See Illuminations if we didn't see it before.
Monday, 17 March - last day.
- Magic Kingdom, finish with the best, (9am-8pm). End with Spectromagic at 7:15pm and fireworks over the Castle at 8pm.
That's it - except for unscheduled afternoon breaks from the parks when needed. Any comments are welcome.
