We're driving down to WDW and staying for a week in a timeshare that was given to us by a friend. :worship:

I'm trying to think of things to take down with us. We're planning on eating breakfast pretty much every morning at the condo before we leave for the parks. Here's what I have for my list so far. We'll get refrigerated items once we get down there.

Dry cereal
Pop-Tarts (hey, it's vacation... who's eating healthy!?)
Granola bars
Microwave popcorn
Case of bottled water
Laundry detergent/supplies

I'm open to suggestions for other things that I may be forgetting! What else am I missing?

Bring snacks for the drive, especially if you have kids! Make sure you have your toiletries, and bring extra soap and shampoo, unless you plan on going shopping down there. My family drives from NY all of the time and we try to pack as lightly as possible. So we don't bring much as far as food, instead we go shopping at Walmart down there to buy food and whatever else we may need or forgot.

Do you have kids? If so, I like to bring a night light. Also, a crock pot if you plan to ever have meals in the condo at night. Easy to come home too. We have to fly, but if I could, I'd at least make taco soup one night or something yummy as we get so sick of eating out! I would also bring my own pillow and pool toys!

My husband's short list: a nice non-stick frying pan, a coffee mug with a man-size handle and his favorite clip on fan for the bedroom. I always bring aluminum foil, baggies of various sizes, and a few food containers for leftovers. I always throw in a few extra dishwasher tablets since some resorts are stingy with them. I also bring a small bottle of Dawn because not all resorts supply hand dishwashing soap (though most do). Salt and pepper, ketchup, small sizes of other condiments so we don't have to rush out and by them. We have a plug in flashlight that makes a little light, so use that as our nightlight. We also bring my husband's favorite coffee and extra filters (though they are usually provided).

Yes, two boys (6 & 9)... nightlights are a great idea... I'll add them to the list. I'm not sure we'll haul a crock-pot, even by car, but it's an idea to consider... thanks!

My lists includes Clorax wipes and Clorax Anywhere hard surface sanitizer (to spray down the tub, shower, sinks, etc). I plan to take my travel size of the Clorax Anywhere and will pick up a 3 pack of the wipes - one for each bathroom and one for the kitchen. TP for each bathroom, dish wash and laundry detergents, I will be replacing all of our pillows at that time so we will all get nice fluffy pillows to start the trip, my own one mug coffee maker and some small flashlights just in case something happens and we have to make our way down a dark staircase.

Toilet tissue
Facial tissues
Paper towels

I know that you said a case of bottled water, which is great if you're thinking of taking water to the parks with you, but the water in the condos/time shares is usually awful so I like to get one of those 2.5 gal. jug dispensers to put right in the fridge. This way when you're at the condo you can just fill up a glass right from the fridge.

I would add:
kitchen trash bags (I usually estimate 1 per day)
oatmeal packets
snack foods (chips, pretzels, etc.)
napkins
paper towels
dvd's (if the place has a dvd player. Not that we watch a lot of movies but some days we take a break from the parks and dh likes the new releases.)
When we drove to Williamsburg I bought these items on sale a little at a time.

For Orlando we fly but still squeeze in small items like trash bags, ziploc bags, dishwasher tablets, dryer sheets, coffee filters.
