Disposable razors and aerosol deoderant cans...
I CAN take these in carry-on luggage, right?

I want to make sure I'm reading/comprehending correctly.

Disposable razors are fine. As far as aerosol cans go, as long as they are under 3 ounces and can fit in your 1-quart baggie you're good to go.

Just to be pedantic (well, not really pedantic since it may help the OP), it is actually 3.4oz (or 100mL), not 3oz. I think 3-1-1 just sounds better than 3.4-1-1!

as for razors, are razors with the changable heads allowed?

You can find all the info here:

http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm

For razors it says (under not allowed in carry on luggage):

Razor-Type Blades - such as box cutters, utility knives, and safety razor blades (disposable razors and their cartridges are permitted)

So, if the razors are disposable than the ones with changeable heads are allowed. Otherwise, they are not allowed.

I had already read all of that and was not clear since the whole razor is not disposable, that is why I asked the question thinking maybe someone who had flown would have the answer for my question if they had taken a razor with changable heads.

You're fine -- those are still considered disposable.

Basically, what they don't allow are straight razors and the old fashioned razors that require actual razor blades.

Thanks for posting and answering this!!!

I was just researching the same thing.

I bring my razor with the disposable heads in my carryon with no problems. I have more problems with my quarters/pennies.

I always have to take them out of the carryon and put them in the bin with my 3-1-1 bag and usually have to answer a question about it and show the security guy they are just quarters/pennies.

I also had to take out my bag of pins that I got on my Feb. 2011 trip at MCO and show security what those were that trip. I'd never had to do that one before.
