Itchin' For Some Fun...12/10/09 - 12/14/09...Finished 3/17

One of these days I'm going to make it to the Osborne Family lights. Until the, I'll continue to enjoy all the TR's which feature it. Great update!

I love the bucket (which we saved, of course).




I got a few shots, but honestly, pictures can never do this display justice. It was breathtaking!

We had about 20 minutes until park closing, and I was really regretting giving away the fastpasses, since I really wanted to ride Tower of Terror in the dark. We headed over to see what the wait times were, and it was only 10 minutes! Woo Hoo! We were able to squeeze in two rides on Terror of Terror. It was so amazing in the dark. So much fun!!! It was just what I needed to get me back in a good mood. I actually would have ridden a third time, but the gates were closed when we came out after the second ride.



We had had another amazing day, and we chatted about it as we made our way back to the room. Disney Hollywood Studios has always been a park that we skim over, but I felt like I developed a real love for it on this trip.

Our popcorn buckets bring us much happiness. They hold crayons, pencils, toys, receipts, etc.

The Osborne Light show is cool on video, but you really do have to see it in person to get the full effect. We were lucky this year that the night we went it was not crowded, but we have been in the kind of crowds where you can barely move.

Tower of Terror made you happy again.


Glad you saw Hollywood Studios in a new light. I think it is cool all lit up at night.

You know what - I love your DIS name, too and I've never told you that. But it speaks volumes!

Nice update! I would have been seriously snippy if I had stayed at any park all day. So props to you for spending a whole day at HS. Personally, I think that's hard, cause I need some down time. Also - you made it through an 80 minute standby line.............need I say more. You did get some really great inside pics.

I'm glad you got to see Fantasmic and I am so happy your day ended on such a high note. And you rode ToT HOW MANY TIMES?????? You have left the rest of us weenies seriously in the dust.

I loved your update and can't wait for the next one!

We've all been known to have a meltdown or two especially in a busy park. I know I have.

I've never heard of this TSM party either.

Great update! I'm sorry you missed the party, but you did what was right if you weren't feeling up to it! ToT that many times - you're amazing!! (this from someone who won't ride it at all!)

When we saw the O Lights - it was pretty crowded too. But no one was too rude or anything. We just made our way around slowly. When you see the pics in my TR - you'll notice a LOT of other people in most of them.

So, what's next???? Benadryl??

Hi Denise! I followed the link from your post on my TR. Sounds like you had a great time with your DH!

Love the picture of your little dog Raven. He looks so sad, just like he knows you're leaving town! We always laugh at our house, because when the suitcases come out of the attic, into the bedroom, our little pug, Millie, starts drooping her tail, and acting all sad! Aren't they funny?

Also love the popcorn bucket. I got one like this while I was there for New Years. I am obsessed with popcorn buckets! I have a collection back to 2001! During this last trip. I sent my DH for snacks while we were waiting for Wishes to start, he returned with cokes and ....YES....a popcorn bucket for me!

Osborne Lights are awesome, especially if you are there are a cooler night.
Walking those streets really gets you in a Christmas frame of mind.

Yaaa I loved your update...TSM cue pics were great! I love it in there! Sorry about the crowds at Osborne lights...yikes...I would have had a meltdown too! Glad you had a long but nice day at HS...I feel like I need to go back since I missed so much!
