I read this and I had been entertaining an ABD trip to Italy next year.

I wondered if anyone was affected? I hope all are ok...

I heard about this too. DP and I are booked on a September Viva Italia tour. From the map I saw, the quake appeared to hit northeast of Rome. Out of the direction of the tour. So I'm hoping it won't be affected. It's a sad turn of events nonetheless! I hope any current Italy tours in progress are safe.
