Hi! Does anyone know if the italian charms are sold in all of the parks or the resort shops....and how much they are?? (Planning ahead for what I want one of souveniers to be!) :D

I got $3 ones at the World of Disney DTD. I got Mickey and Minnie faces and my daughter got Tink. She also got a mickey with birth stones and one fell out already.
I saw some really expensive ones in the shops at the parks. They where $40-50.

the $40-50 ones must be what disneystore.com is selling for about $30. thanks, sarahsmom!

The charms are available at many of the shops at WDW. I thought they were mostly in the $25-$30 range.

Yes Micca is right. Most charms are around $25-$30, more for the "dangling" ones and, of course, more for the double ones. I started mine last year when I went and added more on on my next visit and will be adding more on next time! It's additive!! LOL!! I've seen them in my local mall, but I think they have more in Disney. I bought most of mine at the World of Disney, Downtown, but have seen them in Uptown Jeweler in MK, Italy in Epcot and more places.

Have Fun!!!

I actually got Mickey head birthstone charms on Ebay for $5 each from a WONDERFUL seller! 1 of them actually only ended up being $3. Let me know if you want the name of the store on Ebay.

SRUAlmn,

If you don't mind I would love to know the name of the seller. I just started this addiction with DD last weekend. It was girls day out and we got mommy and daughter bracelets to comemorate our day out. We both got charms that spell our name out with a sparkling heart. I would love to add more charms to her bracelet. She love it!

My sisters, mom and I are doing the same thing. We actually just got my mom hers for mother's day and we put Mickey charms of all of our birthstones on it. It was so cute. The colors even matched well :) Here is the link to the person's store on Ebay. They have LOTS of Disney charms. They usually go for more than the other charms on Ebay do, but it's still MUCH MUCH cheaper (for the most part) than you will pay in a store. I have had mine and my mom has had hers for a month and they hold up GREAT! I work with kids, so mine gets passed around and banged up quite a bit and it's still in great shape. They solder(sp?) them instead of gluing them. Good Luck!

The seller's name is Gyantzpod

Be sure to inspect your charms for any damage. I got a Mickey head and didnt realize until I had gotten home that a very small piece of enamel was missing. It was so small I didnt worry, but about 2 mos later, a bigger chunk connected to the itty bitty one fell out. Since I had gotten it at WDW (Contemporary) I contacted them and they sent me a new one. I didnt have my receipt nor did they ask me to return the original one. Great service WDW!

Prices: I paid $26 for a Mickey head and Tinkerbell. The dangles are more, and double links run about double cost ($50). I like the watch bracelet myself (but I have so many watches already and its not waterproof). Surf the internet youll find them everywhere. I like Carina-lots of charms, including special orders ie photos. Again be careful of the cheap charms-they are usually poor quality if not genuine (ie WDW charms have a WD logo on the back as do zoppini). Some on ebay are just pieces of paper with enamel put over top of them. Others are cheap enamel that will fall off much easier than quality charms.

Are the charms all standard size? So if I bought a bracelet here would the charms at WDW fit?

As far as I've seen, "Yes." Any charms gotten anywhere have all fit the differnet bracelets I've seen. Guess we can thank Eli Whitney for that :p

The link I previously posted for Gyantzpod's store on Ebay is authentic. All of their charms are stamped with the Disney logo on the back. Well, it's not my store, so I can't say ALL, but from what I have seen they are. It will tell you in the description. Just make sure the charms are stainless steel, fit 9mm bracelets, and have some type of authentic stamp such as Disney, Zoppini, etc... and you will be good to go!

Thanks for the link on ebay. Just order 4 for myself and grandaughter. Taking her for a surprise dinner with Cinderella while at WDW. I intend to give her that charm while there. I will buy the bracelets down there. Will I be able to attach the new charms, or will I have to have them do it?
I saw the starter bracelet at Disneyland last month and didn't buy it. Now I'm sorry. I loved it because on all the links it had the Mickey head.

You can buy the bracelets on Ebay too. I got my mom a Zoppini one for $11. You put the links on yourself which can be quite a task at first, but once you do it a few times it becomes old hat. They sell link assisters to help you pull them apart, but I have found that a paperclip works just as well if you need it ;) Have a great time!

Think I'll get the ones in the park as they have Mickey Mouse on all the links. They are $18, or at least they were in Disneyland. Do you think that they would put the links on for me? I'll probably buy another one or two down there. do you know if they have any with Figment on them? I will be going to Epcot. He's my favorite!!!!
Thanks, Donna

If you want to order online try carinacharms.com
They have a huge selection of Disney(many of which you will NOT see at WDW). Not cheap, but service is fantastic. I have ordered on Sunday and received the product on Tuesday(regular shipping). I have bought from them several time for DW and DD

:earsboy:

Can you tell me where they would sell the all-Mickey bracelet? Is it at DTD-where exactly?

If you look on the web site that Micca provided and go look under the disney charms there is a picture of the bracelet with the laser Mickey's on the charms.
I still think I'll buy mine in the park. I would imagine that you should be able to get it at the jewelry store on Main St. or in DTD at the large Disney mdse. store. Can't remember the name. I think that at Disneyland I saw them in the Emporium on Main St.

If I bring the charms that I bought today, do you think they will put everything together on the new bracelets I buy there?

thanks, Donna

The main difference in the charms is the "expensive" ones on the back say "walt disney company" and "sterling silver" AND at some stores at wdw you can find charms for about 3 to 5 dollars they say "disney" on the back. They are not sterling silver. They are found out on racks, with earring, and other jewlery, The "good" charms are usually in the locked up cabinet and you ask to look at them. So be sure if your buying on e-bay etc.... and paying more you get the true sterling silver - charm ;)

What about charm bracelets for kids? I would love to have matching mother/daughter ones but my girls are little, and I would like nice ones, not cheap ones. Can you take out the links to adjust the size? I went on Disneystore.com to at at least order myself one but it wouldn't ship for 15 weeks! I would like to have them before our August trip but if I have to wait and get them there then I will. Any thoughts on the kids bracelets?
