I’m pretty new to DISboards, but I just read your TR and had to tell you your pictures look amazing!!! It may not have been exactly what you wanted, but the pix you posted came out gorgeous!!!

I think the pictures came out beautiful! Your eyes really stand out in the photos. I don't remember, did you remove some of the makeup before the shoot? The way they softened the photos doesn't make the makeup look harsh or 'drag queen-ish' at all. The black and white ones might be my favorite but it's a tough decision

I also think your hair looks really cute! Defintiely not how you described what you wanted, but cute nontheless. I know when you have something in mind and it doesn't turn out the way you want, it's horrible. But from an outsider? Still very nice!

In all honesty....................I think they look great.

LOVE the shot of you guys kissing under the umbrella, the shot of your hands and the last two shots---but all of them are good. I don't think the make-up looks overdone and I'm not sure if you did anything with the hair or not after the stylist left, but the curls don't look ridiculously tight or anything.

All in all, even if they weren't exactly what you were expecting or hoping for, it could have been WAY worse. Hopefully they grow on you and if not, I'd give it another shot sometime, maybe not soon--but sometime. Knowing what you know now about what you didn't like for the outfit, the make-up and the hair it can only get better, right?

Yes, the ones i posted are really good... but thats' just it.. i only posted the good ones that we've agreed we loved.. and out of 300+ photos' thats not a lot of photos!

I did have to remove A LOT of make up before leaving the apartment.... we love the black and white over any of the color ones.. I dont know why!

No, it's doens't look like the Hair photo I showed her.... she used a small barrel curling iron.. I wanted a lose wave.. probably would have been closer to the photo if she used a larger barrel curling iron and lighty curled... but the more it rained, the curly my hair got and it looked worse.. but nothing i can do about it now.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE ROOTS WORK.... It's why I emailed them on a whim seeing if they had availability for the dates we were scheduled to be there for the weekend!

It was a combination of rain, my hair, my make up and my double chin

Nice to meet you too! I haven’t started a PTR for our December trip because I’m scared to jinx it (DH is still looking over the finances and hasn’t given the okay yet!).

Haven't seen *any* bad ones yet! However, even if these were the only good shots you got on the shoot, I would say you hit the jackpot with this session! Especially considering the limitations with the weather!

Hopefully you will grow to love them, because I think most of us here are blown away by how great they came out!!!

Girl, those photos are *so* not what I was expecting. First, this is how I had imagined your hair from your explanation.

I think your hair looks great, you both look great, and they look so romantic to me. I like the ones where you are looking at each other and the umbrella ones.

Are you going to frame any of them?

It doesn't matter what we all say, as it is clear that we all think you look great and the photos came out really good. To you they will never be great as when you look at them you remember and see all the stuff you weren't happy with.

The best pictures of our wedding were the ones in the rain, it was something a bit different the umbrellas really made some of the pictures.

Next time, try not to put some much pressure on yourself for it all to be perfect, have an idea of what you would like but not a definate "exact". (which is hard as who doesn't buy a pair of jeans cause they look great on the model and then get depressed cause they don't look as good on you)

Go and have a fun time with your boyfriend and I am sure the photos will be great even if it is hammering down with rain again.
