Its day 10 of the holiday and its time to slow down a bit. Staying on-site has been harder than we thought although it could have more to do with the heat as everyday the temperature has been in the 90s. We both agree to have a lazy morning perhaps having a swim and we will go to MGM later in the day. I decide that I will put some washing in the machine and dh goes for a swim before bringing me coffee whilst I wait for the washing.
We head off to MGM in time for Allstars and Motors parade. We arrive and people are already starting to get their places so we find a place on the kerb and I go to fetch the ice creams. We were kept entertained by the street performers who were excellent, really funny. The parade was great there were two new cars in it to promote the film. Unfortunately I only took the one photo as I was videoing everything but I will put some of my other MGM photos on.
The parade over its time for a quick bite to eat before heading off to see Beauty and the Beast. I love it but I thing DH thinks it a bit girly although he loved the group that was on before the show. We headed over to the little mermaid once it had finished and it was great as the little girl next to me knew all the words and was singing the first song with Ariel, so sweet.
After walking the streets for a while (my way of saying I know we did something but I cant remember exactly what) and doing some shopping we decide to head back.
We walk down the street to leave MGM, its dark and Judy Garland singing Somewhere Over The Rainbow is being piped into the street, a baby is crying in the distance and a little girl in a princess gown is dancing in the road and for some reason everything has a magical feel about it; I cant explain it but everything felt just perfect.
Back at Pop we had the usual nightly routine before off to bed ready for tomorrow.
