Yesterday was Typhoon Lagoon and unfortunately dh didnt put on enough sun cream and this morning he is suffering from sunburn.. Ouch.
Making sure his shoulders are covered today we head of to MK.
We arrive and once again head for the train to take us to Toon Town. I have a look around Mickey and Minnies house. After we come out of the judges tent we buy some fruit from the farmers market. We then make our way to the tiki tiki room, I hadnt a clue what this was but we went in anyway. There was no one else in there to start with and I must admit we both wondered what on earth this was going to be. Glad to say pretty soon others started to wander in and eventually the show started. It was fun and we both enjoyed it although I am not sure dh would admit that in public. Lol
Splash Mountain beckons and then its off to tomorrowland where I want to go on the TTA. We grab a snack for lunch and go and take some video of the castle. Its time for an itsakadoozie before dh complains his sunburn is playing him up so he goes back to the resort and I stay to watch the parade and then Cinderellabration which to be honest are not his thing anyway. I take my video of the parade and theres still an hour before Cinderellabration so I head off to Mrs Potts for an ice cream.
I sit on the castle wall and eat that watching a little girl who is definitely playing the princess she was terrific.
I decide to spot my place for Cinderellabration and aching legs mean I have to sit on the floor but as theres still ½ hour before it starts there is plenty of room. My sit down lasted a couple of minutes before my backside felt like it was on fire so I decided like it or not I would have to stand. The area starts to fill up and eventually it starts, l love this I know its corny but I still get a nice feeling when I watch it.
So its back up Main Street and head back to the bus as tonight its Epcot and ROE.
Back at the hotel DH is pretty red and sore so we decide that I will go to Epcot and he will stay and rest.
After feeding my face I am soon off to the bus to Epcot.
I have a slow walk down to world showcase (like I could run lol) take a few piccies and some video before finding a spot to watch ROE.
I find a space by the UK and stand next to a couple who are eating when a bird (a large one judging by the mess he made) passes his poo onto the poor chaps shirt. He goes to clean it and comes back and after a few short words they both leave so I nab their spot and settle down to wait. Darkness doesnt take long and soon it starts, I thoroughly enjoyed this and although was tempted to have a mooch around after it finished I thought I had better get back as dh might be worried if I was too late.
I arrive back and dh is watching TV so while he finishes watching whatever it was he was watching I playback my video of ROE with a perfect chorus performed by the ducks (and I thought they would tuck down in the grass in front of me). No good I will just have to go back and do them again but thats okay because I know dh wants to see them.
We take our mugs and go for our nightly stroll for a drink before refilling them and heading back for bed.
