An early start today as we had an 8.05 ADR at the Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom. We were checking out of the Beach Club today as my parents were arriving and we were moving to a timeshare at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Seaworld. We lugged out luggage down to reception as we thought it would be just as quick and easy as calling the bellman.

We drove to the Magic Kingdom parking lot and got in the first row of spaces then rode the monorail round to the park. It was just before 8 and we were admitted to the nearly empty park. We took some photos in front of the castle before going to the restaurant to meet Pooh. As my birthday had been noted on the ADR our table was sprinkled with mickey ears confetti and I was given a card signed by the characters and they came round with a birthday cupcake which was a nice touch. I thought there was a good choice of breakfast items in the buffet, I tried the breakfast lasagne but it was too sweet and sugary for me. Everything else was nice though. Each of the characters stopped by the table for pictures.

We finished brekkie and walked up to the castle entrance of Fantasyland for rope drop. We went on the Pooh ride and then walked round to Tomorrowland where we rode Buzz twice. I love coasters but don't rate Space Mountain and Ric doesn't like coasters in general so we skipped that and headed over to BTMRR which we went on and got fastpasses for Splash. Next up was Haunted Mansion, then Mickeys Philharmagic which has to be the best 3D show in any of the parks, then Small World. Our fastpasses didn't get us into Splash any quicker than the standby line on this occassions as the lines merged straight away but the wait was only about 10 minutes anyway. Next up was the Enchanted Tiki Room which is always good for a sit down. Then we had Dole Whip floats from Aloha Isle. I love pineapple but had never tried one of these delights before. They will be a must on every trip from now on. We next went over to Tomorrowland to go on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority as we had never done this before. When we got to the bit where you go through Space Mountain all the lights were on and it looked very rickity and spooky.

By now it was midday and time to go and collect my Mum and Dad from the airport. We were there nice and early and dropped off the economy car as we were going to be taking a larger car for the second week. Ric got himself settled in a seat while I decided to have a wander around the airport shops. I got my dad a Grumpy T Shirt which had the year 1937 on it which is when Snow White came out on film but is also when my Dad was born so I thought he would appreciate it.

Mum and Dad's flight landed on time. They were one of the first people through as they were in Premium Economy. They had enjoyed the flight and were looking forward to the rest of the trip. This is where things get a bit sketchy as I don't have proper notes! We picked up the new car from Budget without the problems we had encountered the first week.

We arrived at the Hilton Grand Vacation Club at Seaworld. We had booked a 2 bedroom apartment here which was a very large bedroom with it's own jacuzzi and then seperate shower room. Fully equipped kitchen including washer/dryer .Good sized living room with dining room table. Mum and Dad were then in what could be a locked off studio which had a connecting door. This is the 3rd timeshare that I have stayed in while in Orlando and I have been impressed with the quality of them all.

Mum and Ric went off to the supermarket to get in supplies and me and Dad went to find the bar next to the pool.

We decided to let Mum and Dad have an easy first night after their long journey and just made something to eat in the apartment.

The breakfast with Pooh bear sounds lovely, I would like to try that. Nice that they made a fuss for your birthday too.

What a great idea the grumpy t shirt was. I love things like that.
