Hi,
It so cold in the South right now. I am freezing's. I am dress warm in the house and still cold.

Please cold weather go by by. I can't take cold. I am use to nice warm weather.

I talked to friends in TN this morning who was complaining about the cold. My husband is in GA and said it's pretty chilly there as well. It is very uncomfortable cold here. Much more than this good Southern girl can appreciate.

Last year I went to Michigan in December to see my inlaws. I determined that hell is not hot for us Southern people lol.

Yep, too cold for me! DD didn't even argue with me when I made her put on long sleeves, a sweater, and a coat to go outside. She'd usually try and wear flip-flops too, but today grabbed her fuzzy croc boots instead without my prodding. I know it's nothing compared to up north; I'm just grateful the wind isn't howling today.

Those of us up North would gladly trade you! :):goodvibes

I am sitting in the house with thick socks on, sweatpants,t-shirt, long sleeve shirt and Land End jacket on it the house and I still about to freeze.

Yep, it is cold here! This is not typical GA winter weather, and it is supposed to last for about a week, I think. Brrrr........

Yup...in East TN, and freezing as well.

I don't think my HOUSE can take the weather, either. It is only 3 yrs old, and everything in the crawl space was popping and pinging last night. Luckily, none of it was pipes.

I don't know what it got down to, but the heat never cut off. And my poor DS, whose room is above our garage, woke up to 63 degrees in his bedroom this morning. And that was with a space heater as well.

I'm used to about 50 daytime, 35-ish nighttime around here this time of year. Go away, cold!

Cold here in NE Arkansas as well. We woke up to our first snow this morning.

Yep, we were in the 20's last night. I have heard possible teens one night this week. Hard freezes this week. I thought this was Florida? It is the WIND that is making it miserable. I'm ready for summer! :sunny:

We woke up to a frigid 19 degrees here in north metro Atlanta this morning.

The Chihuahuas went outside under protest and none of them would stay out long enough to poop, they knew that they had to pee, but they waited until they got back inside and then pooped on the pads. :rolleyes1

When Gabby left for the airport to fly out to Utah this morning, I moved my car into the garage, it didn't like starting in the cold, which worries me a bit, but then again, it hasn't moved since it was parked around 1 PM on New Year's Eve and it has been below freezing most of that time, so it's sort of expected. Hopefully, it will start without a fuss in the morning.

They are predicting snow here Thursday night. I guess I should go to the grocery store now, because these fools see one snowflake and suddenly there is no bread or milk and there are 1000 traffic accidents.

I'll take your cold to mine! We are in the Northeast and it is freezing here! I am ready to sell the house and move to the tropics. I enjoy a snowy winter day but the cold and wind are getting on my last nerve.

yep, it is FRIGID here in NE Alabama. last night at 10:00 pm, it was 24 degrees F here, and 44 degrees F in Seattle, WA. what is up with that? it's just WRONG...

Pretty frigid here in Savannah (by our standards). There was frost on the grass this morning, which means that the ferns I failed to cover last night will be dead in two days. When I walked the dogs I noticed a little bit of ice formed on some of the puddles in the gutter.

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Sorry but I had to laugh. We turn our heat down to 62 every night. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

It was -20 this morning when I woke up-outside, not inside.

So very cold here in East TN! I have one the warmest clothes in my closet (my ice skating clothes, haha) a long sleeve mock and a wool sweater. I've owned this sweater for close to 30 years and have had to wear it twice this season already!

Supposed to be cold all week. I'll be in FL for marathon weekend and it looks like it'll be cool down there too. They are calling for snow here by thursday night (I'll be gone).

we turn ours down to 63 at night.

But -20??? I've only seen it that cold once in my life years ago (probably 25 years ago!) and it was horrid. I loved Minnesota when I visisted but that cold weather scares me away!! :rotfl:

Well, I'll be the naysayer here. I wait for nine months to enjoy the cold weather! IF I turn the heat on, it's set at 55. I'm originally from a cool, dry state, so am used to - and love - cold weather! I always have a very low utility bill in the winter months...to make up for the massive A/C bills I willing pay during the summer months!

It is 8 degrees here in NJ with the wind chill....
my fiance is going to the Jets game tonight....what a fool!

Oh...I don't mind 63, lol. I like to bundle up in covers with cold air on my face. I just don't like it that cold in my 2 yr old son's crib...brrrr. He won't keep covers on, and his little body was like an ice cube this morning. I guess I need to invest in a sleep sack or something for him...

Without the space heater, it would have been about 56 in his room. I really don't know why it is so dang cold in there, considering our house is just 3 years old.

And my brother was complaining how cold it is in Northern/Mid Florida right now. So I guess it must be really cold there :lmao:
