We will have someone with us who will be about four months pregnant...I see where the Shrek 4D doesn't recommend it for those who are expecting. I was on that attraction once..Of course...I wasn't pregnant...but, it didn't bother me...Should we just suggest she doesn't go on it? I am trying to remember...Do the seats jerk a lot? :confused3

There are stationary seats for those who might not like the motion. I'm sure she'll be fine if you sit in those seats.

I think some potholes in the roads around here are worse than the seat movements :rotfl:

Shrek's non-motion seats are in the front row.

A lot of attractions will say "not recommended for expectant mothers". As long as the mother knows what kind of ride it is and what it entails, it is her call if she wants to ride or not.

IIRC, rides with intense spinning (Storm, Cat in the Hat) should be avoided, as well as those with drops (Hulk, Dragons, ROTM, Ripsaw, River Adventure, Doom). Anything else is a Judgment Call.

I'll tell her about the stationery seats...I didn't think about the spinning in the Cat in the Hat attraction...She had motion sickness before she became pregnant...I'll have to advise her about that, too....She isn't a "roller coaster" person either...so I already knew she would be sitting those out any way...It's the other ones I didn't think about....Thank you so much! :love:

Also MIB- the spinning on that got to me worse than Cat in the Hat did.

I think it is ridiculaous that Shrek has a warning for pregnant Woman. On the other hand watch out for Jimmy Neutron. My wife was 7 months pregnant when we went on Jimmy Neutron and the lap bar was jambed into her belly. We thought our baby was going to come out with a lap bar head. So - don't worry about Shrek but stick with the stationary seats for Jimmy Neutron.

Yikes! I forgot about JN! I remember that one...Gee.....She says not to worry about it...that she'll sit sit most everything out and hold our bags...I keep telling her there are lots of things she can see and ride...I loved ET...She'll be able to ride that one...:love:

I think that they also have the stationary seats at Jimmy Neutron.

ET is tame. There restraint is to *your* comfort level, as long as you're secure.

Jaws = no problem.

There's plenty to see & do.

The stationary seating for Jimmy Neutron is at the very front of the "theater."

yes....JN and Shrek are stationary front row seating :thumbsup2

Just be sure to let the TM know that is where she wants to sit....have fun!!
