As I sit at my desk here in Upstate NY thinking about what to pack for our Disney vacation that starts next week I see that it is snowing !!!!!!!!!!!! really hard !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Snow central checking in here. No sightings as of yet. 44 degrees with rain off and on. Kid #1 reports that it did hail earlier today. Lake Ontario is still 60 degrees. Lake Effect a possibility tonight.

Hey, every year I have a snow race with an internet friend who lives in Rochester. (I'm in Syracuse.) We should do one on the DISboards. We beat Rochester, Buffalo and Albany last year. Why am I proud of that?

I remember being at my grandmother's house on the St. Lawrence River in upstate NY for Memorial Day one year and we had flurries.

I've heard a few weather people predict that we're in for a winter worse than last year

On the upside at least we'll get our money's worth out of DD's snowsuit.

I don't enjoy a mild snow-LESS winter, now we're gonna have winter from September to what???? maybe JUNE???

Yeah, great, just what we need. To pay winter heating bills when hubby is jobless. Oh yeah..............this is gonna be FUN.

Not to rub it in but it was a beautiful day in my neighborhood. 63 degrees low humidity and sun. This morning I noticed a light frost on the roofs of houses as I went to work. A lot different than this time last year when it was still in the 90's.

In Rochester, I think we had almost twice as much snow last winter as we had the year before. Yuck! I sure hope we don't 'win' this year.

I wish it would snow, but I think I'd have to do a lot of wishin' before it snows in Thousand Oaks California... Maybe I can trade a few of these dang oak tress for a beautiful white christmas....

Oh PLEASE don't tell me that! I'm a little further north (Albany area) and have to head even FURTHER north to close up the lake house..

Tonight there's supposed to be a wide-spread freeze.. Rain is predicted for the lake this weekend and I wouldn't be surprised if it was SNOW instead..

What's with out weather lately? Nothing gradual about it at ALL.. It's like someone just throws a switch - hot to cold!!

I'm sorry but this made me .

No snow here yet (Thank Goodness) but it is COLD! The house was 58 degrees when I woke up this morning and dh won't let me turn on the heat yet. I was thinking about asking the tag fairy for a new tag since my "wants spring and flowers" is kind of outdated but the way it's looking, I may as well keep it because we are going to be in full blown winter by next month !
