I just got my reservations changed this morning to PO Riverside, with the CTV discount. I was in French Quarter, which I'm sure would have been lovely, but we have stayed at Riverside before and love it.
I've been calling every day, and the only rooms that were available were water view, which I didn't want because I'm getting two rooms, and the cost would have been much higher than French Quarter Standard View.
Anyway, I just want to say that persistance pays off!! I'm so happy to go back to POR!
If you don't get the room level or resort that you want, keep calling, you never know when something comes available.
