For Halloween night I wanted to rent It. (Te movie with the clown, ect.) Some of my friends say its very good and scary. Give me your opinion on it and your summary of the story. thanks in advance!

I thought some parts of it were comedic (sp) in their attempts to scare you. I've seen scarier.

I was like 4 when I saw it, haha. I don't really remember it but I wasn't scared because I didn't really understand it. There was like a sewer. Thats all I remember.


Whatever you do, don't rent The Changling. My ELA teacher made us watch it at the end of the year for fun. Shes obsessed with death. Anyways, long story short, don't rent the movie if you want to sleep without twitching ever 30 seconds.

Woke up in the middle of the night every other night screaming, "Killer clowns! Killer clowns!"

The book is way scarier. Ok movie, though. If you just watch the movie, the ending is kinda confusing, btw.


It's about an alien that takes the form of a clown most of the time but can take the form of anything that the victim fears. it (the alien) comes back every 27(?) years to do bad stuff in this little town. A group of kids end up defeating the clown once but it wasn't totally destroyed. it comes back and they fight it again, that's where the movie gets confusing.

Make sure you play both sides of the disk, btw, there are two parts.

I don't think its all that scary. Probably because its so unrealistic! But I would consider it one of those 'classic' horror movies...go watch it and judge for yourself, you might like it!
