it is here..........HHN........... 411........

that is new for the print at home set up.
there has to be a way around this.

i'm going to order mine when the ap rates come out for the tickets.
i'll do it by phone. last year they mailed out the vouchers without charge to many.

i'll post here what i find out when i order.

I was saying over at the Vault that maybe as part of the AP prices there wouldn't be a fee. Whoever finds out 1st about the AP ticket prices being available, post it here for the rest of us AP people!

Yeah, I checked it out 1st thing when I logged on this morning, I recognized from peeps as well. I don't remember actual real names and stuff, more faces and screen names. I did meet a few last year from CSW and the Vault, hopefully more this year, now that I have 2 full weeks to be there. With the FFP we can go a possible 5 nights, before buying a ticket for either a Friday or a Saturday.

i'm glad you all get to save some money!

that makes S & S even sweeter.......

let us know if you have any problems getting your tickets.
the ADD ON is something not everyone is aware of
they push it at the parks so many do buy the add on and stay for the evening event.

the ADD ON can be ordered in advance by talking to someone on the phone.
it's legal.
just not many are aware they can buy the tickets for hhn this way.

Apparently a lot of the employees are not aware that you can do this either!

I called today to get the add-on and I went through three people telling me no, you are basically screwed and will have to pay the $70 for HHN because you purchased the tickets separately. One person even said that HHN tickets weren't even on sale yet! Finally someone said YES, YOU CAN HAVE THE ADD-ON!:cool1: I WAS SUPER HAPPY!

The only thing is that this made my tickets that I had already printed at home void and now I don't have anything that says that I have a ticket! They said I have to go pick them up that day!:(

that is why i stressed ask for the "ADD ON' tickets.

that is how they are listed in the computer.
when you get the hhn tickets, it will state ADD ON on the bottom left side of the ticket.

if the phone rang normal for a couple of rings then changed ring tone, you were probably transferred to the canadian center for tickets.
they are not well trained there. that is my opinion. please, no offense to employees there.
i have had to go through a supervisor before when i was connected to the canada center. been there, done that myself before.

now when i call, the first thing i ask is, "are you in orlando" taking this call?
i rather use them then be talking to the outsource group.

UO laid off many employees in the ticket sales a couple of years ago and just recently bringing some of them back.

if this happens to any of the posters out there, ask to speak to a supervisor.

tickets are on sale.
you can buy the ADD ON tickets for HHN at the cheaper price. if you have the day ticket for the park entry, you are eligible for the cheaper hhn tix.

what throws me is the day park ticket you bought is now invalid?
or am i confusing that?

the day ticket should be fine.
it is the ADD ON ticket that you need to buy which you can pick up at the guest services outside the park, or inside the park.

i was to pick mine up at the kiosk one year as i did the same thing you did.
i went to guest services and gave them the confirmation number and my identification and received them thru the TM.

Alright, so... I know there will be a thread posted about this, but when are peeps thinking about going? I'm thinking of going Sunday October 5 and Thursday October 9. I might be going alone at least to the first one so I'd love to meet up with some folks and do the RIP tour!!

Yee haw! I sure hope they have the super cheap upgrade from the Premier Pass one-day freebies to Frequent Fear. I think it was about $10 last year.

thanks mac:thumbsup2

just to make sure i've got the 411:goodvibes

regular tix on sale, AP discounts "should" follow in 2 weeks or so?

Qs re AP tix:

u must purchase online?

electronic or mail?

last year's approx $30?

Thanks for all the info regarding add-on S & S tickets. We bought our day tickets back in January at a discounted price from Dreams Unlimited, and assumed we would now have to pay the full $69.99 for our HHN tickets. I phoned Universal yesterday & got the add-ons no problem for $29.99 each. They even e-mailed me later to say that they would be mailed to me in the UK!!! This has saved us over $160 for the 4 of us, so a huge THANKYOU again!! :disrocks:

i'll be at UO and doing hhn on october 9-10-11-12.
the 13th i do the rides....

i will start a thread in this forum on who is going when and a thread about RIP tour for a group.

i am waiting to find out the dates the RIP tour will be scheduled.
last few years, RIP had black out dates as they were set up for private functions. once i find out the dates, my thread for tours will be up.

that way, we can all find each other.

it will be the same set up on threads i have done here the last 2 years.

discounted ap tix usually go on sale a couple of weeks after the general hhn admission tix are out.

you can order the discounted AP hhn tix from the ap website.
you can call and place an order over the phone if you have issues with the ap website ordering section. I did last year, some glitch in the system so i purchased mine over the phone.

mine were mailed out to me at no charge last year.
year before, had a s & h fee attached to it.
have also done the pick up at the gs but i am too neurotic to do that again.
i prefer to have the tickets in my belongings before i leave for the trip to orlando.

i am so glad you got the discount by calling.
it does not matter where or from whom you bought the day tickets for the park. as long as you have a day ticket, you are eligible to purchase the S & S hhn tickets.

when people call to purchase the hhn event tickets, ask for the ADD ON tickets for hhn.

Yee haw! I sure hope they have the super cheap upgrade from the Premier Pass one-day freebies to Frequent Fear. I think it was about $10 last year.

last years special for the premier pass holders was sweet.

i'll post whatever i hear about this years perks when i hear about it.

i would assume it would be like last year as when they were sold, it specified the perks that go with the premier pass

Yeah, they told me that my ticket that I have at home is now void and that I would have to get the new ones at the kiosk.

Thanks again for your help. :goodvibes

If you get a frequent flyer pass, can you still do the stay and scream option if you have an exisiting day ticket?

thanks mac - im the same, want a real tix in hand::yes:: , call me old skool

so, im thinking since the add on stay & play for non peak nights is less than $30, U wouldn't insult AP holders by setting our tix higher?popcorn::

If you get a frequent flyer pass, can you still do the stay and scream option if you have an exisiting day ticket?

at first i thought you meant the frequent fear pass then i reread your question

any day ticket can be used to buy the stay and scream hhn ticket.

on the park guides you during hhn season, it will encourage you to stay for HHN.
on the weekly info guides for the park, it is stated on there, back page, to use the day ticket to buy the s & s tix..

i just read one of your other threads you started about hhn.
you are talking about the frequent fear pass/ FFP.

that is a ticket for non peak nights at hhn.
if you have a day ticket for the park, you can enter the park and go to the S & S area to wait for HHN to start that night.

the FFP is a HHN ticket. you pay one fee, that's it and you are good to go on all non peak nights.

last year they were honored on opening night even tho it was a peak night.

just a perk of UO has for its' guests.

the FFP is non transferable or sellable.
it belongs to the owner, the one that bought it.

it would be illegal to pass it on to others if you are not planning to use it once you leave the orlando area.

Thanks for the advice Macraven :thumbsup2

i know, it gets confusing when it comes to the hard ticket events.

in order to be situated in the stay and scream area at 5:00, you have to already be in the park.

you would need a day ticket for that.

many people do not want to pay for a day ticket, they only buy the HHN ticket for that night.

those people have to stand in line to enter the park when it opens at 6:30 pm

that line can start shortly after 5:00.
once in and past the metal detectors, you can enjoy the evening of hhn.

it is so much wasted time waiting in line for an hour and a half but many do it.

if you have the promo tickets of 7 day 2 park passes, use it for the park that day. if you leave and go eat an early dinner at city walk, you can be readmitted to the park by showing the pass. it does not take off another day of your pass when you do that.

if you choose to do that, be in the park by 4:50..........
last year i was stopped at 4:55 and had to talk my way past the cop to get in. the line had already started to form for those without the day tickets and security was starting to make the late comers with a day ticket go into the long waiting area.

help me with this thread.
it was made a sticky but i don't think many are checking it out.

i am hopeful that the hhn day tour will be kept.
we need signatures, emails and phone calls made to voice our desire to keep the day tour in operation for this year.

if you never took the day tour, you are missing a very sweet deal.
there are 2 tours in the daytime.
11:00 and 2:00

the tours are about 2 hours where you go thru 3 of the hhn houses with the lights on.
you can see all the details put into the houses.
the tour guide will explain background info and point out very unknown items to people on this tour.

if you have never been to HHN and only watched the youtube pics of it, this tour is for you.
it takes away the fear you might have that has prevented you from attending the hhn event.

please help the cause......
