It is Beyond Freaking Cold-What Happened to Fall?

it is 14 degrees right now-thank god we did'nt get the wind that was anticipated

what happened to fall???? the trees are'nt even done changing colors, and the little critters are still around gathering winter food

we have'nt gotten our pumpkins for halloween yet and now i'm wondering if we were to go to one of the local farms is it possible those suckers will be gross to work with if they've sat on the ground and been re-frozen several times over (like when my fridge went into hyper drive and froze some squash in the drawer)

Yikes, that's crazy cold Good question about the pumpkins. Maybe you can get them really cheap.

Its too bad you're not enjoying the fall. I remember falls like this my entire life, are the seasons different over there than here? The Fall and Spring have never been a smooth transition to me. Summer runs pretty smoothly as it moves from mild to hot then the misery of August and winter from cold to colder then the chill to bones cold of February. Spring and fall are more like an awkward kid dancing at a wedding, bouncing all over the place and unsure where each step will land. Still I just love it

Pumpkins do better around here if they get carved as soon as we get them in the house. Then the freezing and warming doesn't do much.

Fall? I'm still waiting for summer to get here!!!! We had virtually no summer to speak of and now, pretty much no fall. All I have to say, is it better be HOT in Orlando in a few weeks!!

Fall has not arrived. We have had record highs here lately. At this time (9:25am) my indoor-outdoor themometer says that it is 82.4 outside. It is only supposed to go to 91 today and 90 tomorrow.

Good Lord!!! We have had a heat indew of 108 last week. We had one week of wonderful fall like weather but then last week was HORRIBLE!! I would LOVE some cooler or cold weather.
