Got our passports today, BUT they misspelled my daughter's middle name !! Has anyone else had mistakes on their passports and had to correct them? How long did it take? I am so bummed about this... I don't know what to do! Should I just leave it until we get back and fix it afterwards, or try to take care of it now (we leave on July 17th). It is only misspelled by ONE LOUSY LETTER.........
Any ideas.......

If you daughter is under 18, I would lean toward leaving it but your best bet is to call DCL and make sure it won't be a problem.

If correcting it requires you to return the passport, then I would be somewhat uncomfortable sending it back with just 8 weeks or so before you sail

We forgot to send in DH's passport for renewal until April 1 last year and we sailed May 1. Got it back in 2 weeks but I don't know that I would count on that happening again.

I would just leave it and take care of it at another time. Did you use your DD's middle name when making the cruise reservation? Because the passport is the only photo ID you need to use (and you don't need her BC), it won't make a difference if the middle name is misspelled.
