It feels official now

Today I got the ME luggage tags in the mail along with my disney park tickets or should I say cards. They look like credit cards. One for each of us. Now once we get into the resort will I be able to pull all on my room key and just not use the cards I got in the mail??? How does it work. I am jumping up and down doing the happy dance.
