Hi everyone!
I have a quick question. I ran (well, ran/walked) a half marathon yesterday, and I think I managed to get an IT band injury. Pain at the outside of the hip and right below the outside of the knee.
Today, the hip is not bad, but the knee still hurts quite a bit. I have never had any problems with this before, so it all came up out of the blue.
My question is this: what is the best course of action? I am signed up for the Princess next month, and I really want to be able to do it. I'm planning on taking a few days completely off, but what about the upcoming training runs? Cut them short, or try to do distance and hope for the best? I definitely don't want to aggravate anything and make it worse.
