Hello! It’s been a very long time since I last posted here, popped in to look for DVC rentals and had to stop here too. So many familiar names, making me nostalgic.
@Dan Murphy it made me smile to see that you’re still here! Hope all is well with you.

@slo love that you’re still doing the daily polls. I know we’re friends on Facebook, but it’s nice to “see” you here too.

I’m sure there are many more old-timers but these were the first two I saw and felt like I had to post to say “hi”

Kirsten!!! How the heck are you?!?! We've miss you. Stop by more often. All of us used to have so much fun and camaraderie at the many Chicago DIS meets years ago. Hope you, Dewain and the kids (no longer kids I guess) are doing well. Stop by and do Sandy's polls each weekday. They're fun and informative.

We are doing real good. Dewain and I bought a house way down in Manteno in 2020.

My oldest son is now 31 and was married in 2020, the weekend before Covid shut everything down. He and his wife are expecting their first child at the end of the year. Also our first grandchild so everyone is super excited.

My middle son is 26 and is working at Coopers Hawk in New Lenox and really loves it.

My daughter, now 23, is living up in North Dakota and is a full time zoo keeper at Roosevelt Park Zoo in Minot. She was at Lincoln Park Zoo for a year, but only under “temporary” status, so lower pay and no benefits but all the same work load.

Wow, Kirsten! You and your family sure aren't letting any grass grow under all your feet. Manteno. You were kind of southwest suburbs before, weren't you? Now closer to Kankakee.

31, married, baby on the way. And grandma and grandpa soon. Amazing! You two will love it. Congratulations to everyone.

26 Is he a sommelier? Marie and I still have a gift certificate to CH that Vince and his wife gave us, Christmas maybe. We have a few locations by us, always a nice evening.

And 23 That's great about your daughter and her work. Sounds like a field she is really interested in.
