It’s a “Wonder” I survived: Trip Report - Day minus zero, Hilton Gatwick

Thanks for reading all. :thumbsup2

:lmao: The shopping has started and you've not even left the UK - I love it! :worship:

Well I woudn't want to disappoint my fellow shopaholics.

Great start to your trip Claire - glad everything worked out for you with the Hilton (and thanks for the mention ;)). Don't think we'll be eating at the hotel restaurant if that was the cost just for the two of you :scared1:

Can't see your pictures at the moment as I'm at work so I will have to look when I get home but I'm off now to read Day Zero and see what the 'not so magical memory' is :confused3

Your welcome Joh. Thanks again for posting about the offer. :thumbsup2

It was very expensive, in hindsight we wished we had gone to Frankie & Bennie's instead.

Great start Claire, the room looks lovely. Look forward to reading the rest:goodvibes

Thanks for indexing your reports, Claire - I am going to catch up with your reports.

Good start to holiday though a shame about the meal.

we just booked the Hilton for July and I paid £10 per person for the buffet in the Garden restaurant as was a special offer. we don't usually like buffets but sound a fairly good deal.

great start to your report.
