Hope I picked the right forum to post this...wasn't exactly sure.
OMG - I am about to blow my stack!!
We went to WDW in December. It has literally taken me until this weekend to finish my pre-purchased Disney Photo Album. The "connection was lost" a couple times & Disney rebuilt it twice. The first time they saved my whole book. The second time they only saved 70% of my book.
Now this weekend, I was done! I had even added pages & was up to 28 pages in my album. THE FILE GOT CORRUPTED AGAIN.
They could only save 14 pages!!! Now I have to rebuild the other half of the book (they thought I only had 20 pages - Nope, I had 28!).
So, when I click "save" it overwrites the existing file w/ the new one. That makes sense. Now, riddle me this Batman, when I save a Word or Excel file at work it overwrites the file. But if I need to, we have a back up w/ a previous version of the file that I could restore. Does Disney not back up? I guess in some ways there would be so many people & files... but I'm literally getting sick thinking about all the time I've put in and now have to re-invest. I'm even considering saying to H E doubletoothpicks with it & quitting all together. They did give me until August 4th for free, but stil....
Has anyone else ever had this happen?
I will not do another Disney book ever again!!! It's some other online book from now on.
(BTW - if you do their book, they prefer you to work in Mozilla Firefox rather than Chrome or Explorer as it is more compatible & has "less issues".)
