ISO:Inexpensive Sewing Machine for DD(6)

First, I was not sure where to post this but I am in need of either a gadget that can just do straight stitching (if it exists) or an inexpensive sewing machine or serger just to do straight seams. FYI DD(6) and I have started making her own bows and head bands. So its just basic stitching and she is wanting to be more hands on w/ the stitching and her little fingers are taking a pounding because she is so determined. TIA

I suggest this. It's pretty inexpensive and smaller for her to start out with. If you go any cheaper than they probably won't last long. If kept in good condition it should last her until she's old enough to decide if she's dedicated enough to want an upgrade ^_^

First, sorry for the delayed response I forgot where I had posted my question. Second, thanks so much for your suggestion. I just checked it out online and I think this may be what I was looking for; and the price was not bad either. Again, thanks you really helped me out.
