ISO: A good source for Disney Transportation info?

I'm looking for the best/quickest ways to get from resort to resort or parks to certain resort. Also, some average travel times and any tips or helpful advise for using the buses. Is there a particular website that's good? Or maybe a thread or two on here that I'm missing?

This will be our first time using Disney Transportation and I feel completely unprepared.

I'm looking for this as well. We're staying at the Poly in Sept. I looked on the Offical Poly thread but it only spoke of the trasportation from the Poly to the parks. Thanks so much for posting this!

Someone will come along and post a link to a website. Be warned that site has not been updated in several years; while most routes exist, some do not, and some routing is roundabout and doesn't make much sense.

General:

Resorts to parks: monorail/bus/boat. Each is pretty direct, except if you want to get to Epcot from a monorail resort you need to transfer at the TTC.

Resorts to resorts: bus/monorail/boat to nearest park (or bus/boat to Downtown Disney) then transfer to transportation to the destination resort.

Specific information is available right here, just for the asking. Let us know where you're starting and where you want to go.

OurLaughingPlace has some transportation info but it is badly outdated. Because Disney transportation is so fluid, it's hard to predict how long things take. Add to that the fact that you may have a wait of 15 or so mins before a bus or boat comes along, then add the actual ride, and you have a very different time than if you had just walked up to the bus stop, boarded a bus and driven off.
You are really better off just asking here...give us where you will be and where you want to get to, and the time of day. Then you will get the most current info possible. Besides, we love talking about the best ways around WDW.

but as the previous posters stated neither of these are super accurate. I agree the best way would just be to ask here on the boards, you'll usually get a few options and be able to figure it out.
