Am_I_There_Yet said:Crokette, I've followed your postings ever since you lost your Lytchee. I can see myself being just like you, when the time comes for Chloe. It's going to devastate me.![]()
Are you going to eventually consider getting another pet?
I've seen many of your posts too, and I think I know how much you love your gorgeous Chloe.
I knew it would be hard to loose my furbaby, but I didn't think the intensity would last for so long.
I didn't want a new pet, because I thought I would never be able to love him the same I loved Lytchee.
But a year before Lytchee's death, a lost kitten, whose mother, brothers and sisters have been shot by someone in the neighbourhood (the vet found a piece of shot in the head skin of Tigrou), let us approach him. Now he sleeps on a pillow on the sofa. He's lovely and really sweet, he doesn't look like a stray cat any more.

I genuinely feel the love you share with a pet is more unconditonal than any human you'll ever meet.
