OMG - Shaun Cassidy is 44! My sister and I idolized him... she had one of his t-shirts (as she was a few years older than me) and we both had posters of him on our walls (yeah, I was a mature child). Yikes.

They are both sons of the actor Jack Cassidy. But, Shirley Jones is Shaun's mother in real life (and David's on the Patridge Family).

Shaun Cassidy is now a television producer. I can't remember which show he has currently but it's one of the "hits". You see his name on the screen.

Shaun Cassidy memories.....

6th grade- all the girls loved him. The guys liked KISS. had to fight it out at class parties!

We- myself, age11
my sister, age 9
our best friend, age 8
had a Shaun Cassidy fan club- complete with "Shaun attacks", "Hardy boys" sleepovers EVERY sunday night and understanding- may the best girl win! Our vow against the evil, ugly, disgusting Parker Stevenson and Leif Garrett.

8th row concert tickets. The evening before the concert, we were playing boxball in front of another friend's house. We heard the news- the concert was cancelled! Balls flew, tears flowed.....and flowed.... and flowed........

7th grade- Leif Garrett concert. Wear our Sean t-shirts and aggravate Leif fans (hey, it was a free concert).

After the concert- bought Leif shirts and ran for the nearest bathrooms to ditch the Shaun shirts. Leif forever...... saw him 3 more times within the next 7 months (still have pictures somewhere)

I am now 36 and these guys are old. Ha ! They should be so lucky that I was remotely interested in them at one time!
