Need opinions. I know that in Jewish weddings, it is standard for the both the bride's parents to walk her down the isle. We are not jewish, but I would really like to walk with both my parents! Especially if we do it at the Yacht Club Gazebo which a WP told me is a long walk! Would this be silly? We will only have 4-6 guests and a groom left in the waiting if I take both my parents! lol

IMHO, there's no golden rule to how you should perform the ceremony. DO IT! walk down the isle with your parents and be joyful :) I'm sure they'll be happy to as well. (unless the fiancee have some serious religious reason for not doing that...)

I am having both my parents walk me down the aisle. I think your mom would feel very special and honored.

Both of my parents are walking me down the aisle at the Yacht Club Wedding Gazebo. This will leave 6 people plus my groom up at the gazebo waiting for us (oh, and Rev. Miller!). Don't feel silly, b/c if you are silly then so am I! :thumbsup2
