Hi everyone, I need help with info on IOA I've been to Universal and LOVE IT, I am taking my boyfriend there at the end of October, I am trying to decide what other parks to go to, can someone tell me what IOA is like?

To me, IOA is THE definition of a themepark. All of the "lands" are heavily themed, and the attractions fit the themes very well. Hulk has been voted the best steel coaster in the world and for good reason. Spiderman is the world's most advanced park attraction, combining simulators, 3-D video, dark motion rides, and special effects such as pyrotechnics all into one ride. It is a must see. The water rides (Jurassic Park River Adventure, Bluto's Bilge Rat Barges, and Dudley Dooright's Ripsaw Falls) are much more intense and fun than the "other" Orlando-area park's equivalents. Dueling Dragons is an awesome two-track inverted coaster with (IMHO) the best-themed ride queue in the world. And those are just the top attractions. IOA also contains a great "kids" area (Seuss Landing), and the best themepark restaurant there is, Mythos. IOA is definitely the best park to go to in Florida.

I love all the rides in IOA but I think that Kraken at SWO is better than Hulk even though Hulk is classic.

I totally agree.. I used to think the Hulk Coaster was the best.. but Craken does a more intense ride- if you can believe that.. but the Hulk is a VERY close 2nd:)

I thought Kraken was boring actually, too smooth, I like the Hulk or even Kumba at BGT much better

I think most peeps on this board including me have the opinion that IOA is the best park in the world, I know I do. (Not counting the Disney 1st crowd) It is awesome, its a don't miss park. The old U park has added a lot lately too and is really great as well. I usually spend more time at U than Dis, and more time at IOA than any other park.

IOA is my DD's (19) favorite park of all of them (although she is a strong fan of Men in Black at US). Her BF is going with us in December, and she's excited about showing him everything too.

Amity 3 has a thead on this board that has a link to 2 day/2 park tix for $67. While the $85 deal is great, two days are all we have available for US/IOA, so the $67 ticket is great for us.
