I’m not 100% sure but when we were visiting the Tower in May, I think we noted the difference too and that the smell seemed to be the same smell that we are pretty familiar with as it’s used at BLT and Beach Club - Clover and Aloe (can’t remember the name of the company that makes it but I used to buy the diffuser oil at the Co-op at Disney Springs - Bowers something?)
I also have the oil scented like the GCH and they are distinctly different. Interestingly, I like how the GCH smells when at the Poly but I don’t like how it smells at home - too cloying.
We love Clover and Aloe and use it at home to get a Disney dose. BUT I do wish that each resort had a more distinct scent. It adds that little something something when you are visiting or staying at different resorts.
