I was also feeling very glad about buying at Bay Lake after seeing the point chart! Especially as we bought BLT for 1 and 2 BR.

Aren’t Standard view 1BR is 2x SV studio for all seasons?
Also, aren’t preferred and theme park view equal or less than 2x the same view studio?

We need to two full bathrooms and we are only 3 people. lol. BLT 1BR is perfect for us. I thought the 2 BR at VGF was wasteful point-wise. Although, I feel like PIT 1 BR is going to feel small.

I agree but DS is no longer a fan of BLT's pool or going over to the contemporary one.

Story of my life DS always make me spend more than I want!!

If the rehab is done well, I think this makes BLT resale far more attractive.

It’s hard to justify a poly stay of more than a couple of nights with this point chart for me. It’s quite literally 50% more than SSR, and nearly that vs AKV, which I guess in a way makes sense, but also all I can see is how many fewer days we will be there for if we do that.

I do still want to do Poly eventually. Maybe the next time we have a reason to go in September.

My reaction: boy does this make the BTL and CCV points charts look fabulous. I can have a 2-bed penthouse at Poly Tower facing the golf course OR for about 5% more points I could have a cabin at CCV or a 3-bed Theme Park View Grand Villa at BLT. Alternatively, I can have a parking lot view 1 or 2-bed at Poly Tower or spend 5% FEWER points and have a 1 or 2-bed theme park view at BLT.

DVC news has a projected list of room inventory here, but without the view type listed. Nothing has been publicly shared by Disney though:

The statement of information for UK buyers is suddenly offline; when it comes back we will have an official accounting for how many rooms of each type there are (but not how many per view).

Right, and for those of us trying to trade into 1BRs at 7 months if all that’s left is TPV, there’s no way I’m doing that. Now we’re in double AKV territory, with no animals.

I know there will be nothing for a while, but hopefully in 3-5 years when there’s decent availability coming through at 7 months some other options are coming through.

The only way to 'swap' for December is to own Poly and be on the phone Oct 1 exactly at 8am. Then you still have like a 10% chance.
